Offer Profile
With its more than 90 years
of company history, FELLA-Werke GmbH now has a firmly established place
among the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery. As a specialist
for forage-harvesting machinery, the Feucht-based company, which was founded
in the year 1918, has the industry’s largest product range of mowers,
tedders and rakes. The continual progress of FELLA is also reflected in
the company maxim. The company has changed its slogan and is now proclaiming
the principle “Harvesting Energy“ – a more than logical result of the recent
innovations. “Harvesting Energy. These words describe all our products,
because they provide energy for animals and people in a way that saves
energy. And they always do this with state-of-the-art technology, in order
to always achieve the best quality.“

It is not just the name that is new – The KM 3140 FP
from FELLA impresses with its entirely new, dynamic design and optimised
technology
The new drum mower KM 3140 FP from FELLA has an
innovative and fresh appearance – but that is not all. The machine also has
an optimised form of protective cloth: windproofing qualities and more free
space for easier access to the mower drum. Visually, the new front-mounted
drum mower is appearing in the new red – all the new machines are in this
colour – and provided with the new FELLA labelling.
“The revised design of our new KM 3140 FP is more than just an aesthetic
correction“, says Bernhard Kohl, Head of Research and Development at FELLA,
“We want to underline our continual striving for progress with appearance
and colour. Always fulfilling the very highest technical and technological
standards to make daily work substantially easier for our customers and at
the same time producing top quality products, that is our central aim.“

SM 991 TL / -KC FELLA disc mower combination with
"safety swing" impact protection
The new SM 991 TL mower combination is fitted with
safetySwing impact protection.
This new impact protection is characterised by the fact that both mower
units, which are axially suspended, can independently swerve when striking
an obstacle. The mower unit swerves back and up around a slanting axle. The
functional principle of the slanting axle protects the drive shafts, which
drive the mower units, from damage.

The FELLA mountaineers - New machines for Alpine forage
harvesting
Following the motto "High-quality basic feed through
professional technology" FELLA is focussing on innovation.
This year too, this has once again resulted in important developments in
the field of forage harvesting machines for Alpine use:
The front-mounted disc mower SM 210 FK-S is specially adapted to smaller
2-axle mowers and is ideal for towing performances of approx. 30 to 45 kW.
Due to its slight weight of only 380 kg and thanks to the very compact mount
the centre of gravity lies close to the tractor and ensures stable handling
even on slopes. For accurate connection alignment, the SM 210 FK-S is
equipped with mechanical lateral shifting as standard, which can be upgraded
with hydraulic operation.

Without an inner skid and with spur-geared drive – FELLA
is offering the perfect solution for harvesting in sloping locations with
two new disc rotary mowers
Entirely without an inner skid; that is how FELLA-Werke
GmbH is presenting its newly developed series of disc rotary mowers. With
the two models SM 2460 ISL and SM 2870 ISL the specialist for forage
harvesting machines from Feucht is offering two mowers with spur-geared
drive and without inner skids for three-point hitching.
“Our customers have drawn our attention to the difficulty of harvesting in
difficult terrain. So it was more than obvious for us to tackle this subject
and to develop a genuine alternative. So the solution that suggested itself
was for us to design a series of disc rotary mowers that make the work
easier for the user, without an inner skid, but nevertheless produce
outstanding quality“, says Product Manager Thomas Beckert, explaining the
development of the new models.

Mobility despite a large working width – New FELLA
series with high-performance TurboLift mowers
With three new TurboLift mowers, the SM 3060 TL, SM 3570
TL and SM 4080 TL, FELLA-Werke GmbH is extending its product range with a
high-performance series in the disc mower segment. What is special here is
that in the transport position, the mowing unit swings 90 degrees backwards.
The newly developed disc mowers have a working width of 3.0 m, 3.50 m and
4.0 m and 6, 7 or 8 mowing discs. The hydro-pneumatics called “TurboLift“
here relieve the load on the mowing bars.
The Head of Research and Development of the Feucht-based company, Bernhard
Kohl, emphasises the importance of the new TurboLift mowers: “FELLA has
developed this series in order to enable even load distribution on the
tractor - with increasing working widths - compared with hydraulic,
high-swinging systems.“
|
 |
Compact and high-performance – The new turbo tedder from
FELLA does not just look good on the road
The agricultural machinery specialist FELLA is using this
year’s Agritechnica in Hannover as an opportunity to present its new turbo
tedder TH 13010 Trans.
“Compactness“ with a large working width – that is how the machine can be
described in a nutshell. The new tedder with transport chassis is
distinguished above all by its small transport length, which is made
possible by double folding of the frame halves. The machine thus lays
horizontally and compactly upon the chassis when transported, which is
especially noticeable and helpful when driving on roads: the TH 13010 Trans
has excellent steering handling and that is with the considerable working
width of 12.70 m.
Unlike the previous models the new turbo tedder now has ten spinners instead
of eight, – two more spinners – each with six arms and tine loss prevention
as standard.

The new medium-sized rake TS 10055 from FELLA perfectly
combines speed and high performance

Fast and efficient, that is how one can accurately
describe the new medium-sized rake TS 10055 from FELLA. This new machine
from the agricultural machinery specialist is the only one on the market to
have 18-inch wheels on the rotor chassis. The TS 10055 backs up its special
status with a driving speed of up to 50 km/h and the enormous working width
of 8.80 m to 10.0 m, which can be hydraulically adjusted.
Head of Research and Development Bernhard Kohl: “This model type is entirely
new in our product portfolio. The machine caters to the demand for larger
working widths and has a particularly high power of impact. So it was more
than natural for us to develop a medium-sized rake that meets precisely
these requirements.“ This is also the reason why the Feucht-based company
will also continue to devote special attention to the designing of machines
with enlarged working widths – in order to be able to support even more mass
and thereby allow the harvesting machines following after to work more
efficiently.

High performance even under extreme conditions – FELLA
develops new two-rotor rake TS 880 PRO especially for difficult terrain

With the new TS 880 PRO, FELLA-Werke GmbH has developed a
two-rotor medium-sized rake that is perfectly suited to particularly
difficult conditions and terrain.
The differences to the previous model in this series, the TS 880, are to be
found in a rotor chassis adapted to extreme requirements, with six instead
of four wheels with 18-inch tires. When harvesting straw and working under
other difficult conditions, the machines are subjected to enormous strain
and therefore require technology and equipment that is different from what
would be sufficient for normal use. Because the plough tracks in cereal
fields are very hard during harvesting, steerable nose wheels on the rake
can roll outside the track. The rigid nose wheel of the TS 880 PRO
counteracts this and ensures steadier running and thus less wear on the
machine. The tandem axles with larger external width and larger wheel base
decisively improve adjustment to the ground. “It has become evident that
special technical equipment is necessary, depending on use and terrain“,
says Thomas Beckert, Product Manager of FELLA, “In order to always achieve
the best quality results in all areas, with grass as well as with straw, and
to protect the machine even under extreme strain, we have developed the new
two-rotor medium-sized rakes..."
