Easy Cut II
The Schumacher cutting system features low
maintenance, superior strength, high cutting performance, easy way of
shipping and assembly.
The combination of high quality components like the guard, the PRO CUT
section, sectionalized knife assemblies and guiding roll/spacerbars make this
possible.

Sectionalized knife
The sectionalized knife assemblies are made up of
individual sections. The longest single section is a little less than 9 feet
long
|

SCH Rollerguide
The SCH Rollerguide replaces the current spacerbars.
The knifeback moves now against the hardened rollers. The rollers turn on a
sealed ball bearing. This virtually eliminates all the frictional forces of
the knife assembly.

Pro Drive knife drive
The PRO DRIVE knife drives feature a planetary gear
system. Epicyclic drive. This design results in an absolute linear movement
of the knifehead and knife.
The full stroke length is always fully transferred to the knife. The design
of horizontal or vertical input drive versions allows use in many
applications.

ProDrive Knife Drive
Designed as a planetary drive, we donīt need drive arms
and reversing levers.
At the same time the mounting of the drive guarantees all lateral forces are
transferred directly to the knife assembly.
The ProDrive is grease lubricated, not oil bathed. This makes for minimal
maintenance and is environmentally friendly.
ProDrives are available in a horizontal or vertical power input version.
This allows for a maximum of input power variations.
To retrofit your current platform with a ProDrive, we recommend having our
customer service people do this.
They are also available to advise you on all matters regarding our cutting
system.
