transCON
Automation, control and I/O system transCON
The automation, control and I/O system transCON is a fieldbus-based decentralized automation system in rail-mounted modular design. The fieldbuses CANopen, LON and Profibus DP are supported. It is specifically designed for outdoor use and complies with e.g. the stringent European standards for electronics on rail vehicles. transCON meets the standards EN 50 155 (temperature range -40 °C to +70 °C) and EN 50121-3-2 (EMC).
etherRAIL
With etherRAIL network modules, an Ethernet network can be extended or installes in a simple and cost-effective way. They offer front-mounted Ethernet twisted pair RJ-45 ports with deterministic (collision-free) communication. Optionally, the ports can be used for optical link transfers.
software tools
Powerful software tools for programming the control program, configuration and parameterization of bus couplers and modules, operation and diagnostics assist the project-leader or user with planning, startup and operation.
