An increasing number of companies have to reduce the number of their suppliers as well as decrease their costs. Rodriguez is taking this trend into account with its Value Added Products. We develop, manufacture and supply complete customized systems based on our thin section bearings and linear technology products. Modern design conception requires high technology bearings. KAYDON REALI-SLIM® bearings are designed to create space, save weight, reduce friction and provide excellent running accuracy. REALI-SLIM® bearings are unique, because every series is based on the same cross section, which remains constant with increasing bore diameters.

New Engineering Software by KAYDON®
REALI-DESIGN® and REALI-DESIGN MM™ Engineering Aids for KAYDON REALI-SLIM® thin-section bearings. This innovative program is an actual engineering aid designed to reduce bearing selection time to seconds, to save hours of tedious computations, to determine safe operating speeds, to calculate load deflections and accurately compute essential life and load analyses.
Metric thin-section bearings

Hybrid thin-section bearings
Original KAYDON® thin-section bearings in compact designs as radial-, angular, and 4-point contact bearing are also supplied as Hybrid bearings, which incorporate the use of ceramic rolling elements on hardened steel races. Hybrid bearings are very well suited for applications where lubrication is marginal.

ULTRA-SLIM® bearings
At just 2,5 mm wide, ULTRA-SLIM® bearings are available in bore sizes ranging from 35 mm up to 200 mm. Their compact profile allows you to use ULTRA-SLIM® bearings in many highly confined spaces. ULTRA-SLIM® bearings are available as angular contact bearings (type A), radial contact bearings (type C) and 4-point-contact-bearings (type X).

Turntable bearings
Rodriguez turntable bearings are bearings with a large outer diameter and large inner diameter with small cross section, which are built for axial, radial and combined axial, radial and moment loads. Improved manufacturing processes and new construction concepts enable totally new solutions in small, demanding and highly precise applications to the technical designers, for example in the aircraft industry or in mechanical engineering. Custom-designed bearings are also available.

DRF/DRN-bearings
Double row angular contact bearings for screw drives. The new bearing generation from RODRIGUEZ for screw drives is distinguished by a number of improved properties. DRF/DRN are double row high precision bearings with 60° contact angle. They can absorb radial as well as axial loads in both directions and due to high runout accuracy and high stiffness these bearings guarantee precise positioning and repeatability.

RTB-bearings
Axial and radial cylindrical roller bearings

Our RTB bearings are bidirectional radial-axial-precision roller bearings, especially designed for the application in rotary tables and spindle heads of machine tools.

Linear Technology
Rodriguez linear technology is an application section with a global view. Besides linear components – like ball bushings and aluminum housings – hardened precision shafts, ballscrew and linear guideways are available. Using this range as a foundation, linear systems with different drive options are available as well.
 
Linear Roundrail Technology
Nowadays linear guides and systems have become extremely important in machine construction. To make designs more economic, the use of these components and systems will increase in future. The priority is the economic technical solution, not just a good technical idea. Linear systems, based on hardened precision shafts as the basis of linear guides, are still very important.

Ballscrews and Trapezoidalscrews
Spindles as ballscrew assemblies and trapezoidal screws. Both types are available in metric and imperial dimensions according to industrial standards. They transform rotational into a longitudial motion or vice versa. Due to the internal ball circulation, the efficiency of the ballscrews is much higher than the trapezoidal screw. Therefore a ballscrew is used in dynamic positioning applications and the trapezoidal screw in slow transporting or clamping applications with low switching periods.

Linear guideways
New: Linear Guideway with Caged Ball

Linear Guideways not only offer low maintenance due to the integrated lubrication system but also a very high stiffness due to four caged ball chains on for each bogie – for very compact constructions even in miniature sizes.

The standard design features 4 caged ball rows in order to increase stiffness for a uniform load distribution in 4 directions. Due to the integrated lubrication system maintenance intervals can be minimized.

Extraordinary smooth operation, extremely compact construction and high precision are features of our crossroller guideways. Features that are especially appreciated in medical, biological and semiconductor technologies as well as in the optical industries and which enable numerous new solution approaches.

Servotube – linear motor with integrated measuring system

Servotube is a three-phase, brushless linear motor with its magnets arrangend as a round pod and therefore operating free of shear forces. An integrated measuring system consisting of Hall sensors provides reliable positioning data even in roughest ambientes.

Linearsystems
Linearsystems combine the advantages of linear guiding systems and mechanical drive mechanisms in a compact and simple way. Rodriguez Linearsystems (ALS) are equipped with Precision Shafts. Selfaligning linear ball bushings are available as well as standard versions or fullsteel linearballbushings. Additionally these units can be equipped with selflubricating linear slide bushings. In addition to the linearsystems ALS, linearsystems with linear guideways, slide guides or rollerguided systems are also available. Technically based on an aluminiumprofile, this is a very compact and high-performance linearsystem. These systems can be driven by ballscrews or belts.

Rollerscrews
Rollerscrews combine a ground screw and the nut, which is equipped with rollers. The geometry of the thread and the rollers, as the circulating elements, make rollerscrews special and provide the following advantages.

Track Rollers
