Our main scope is the development, construction and manufacturing of special drive inverters and inverter systems as well as components for power electronics derived from it. Application-specific measurement and control electronics is the second business area, completed by the production and delivery of fully tested individual electrical control cabinets.

  • have to deal with difficult environmental conditions as for example dirt, extreme temperatures or aggressive substances and therefore need hermetically sealed-off modules
  • work with standard components but require individual solutions
  • do not have the space to build their machines around the components and thus want to or even have to integrate the control electronics into the machine.
 
Drive Engineering
Every moving device needs the suitable drive technology.  We offer customised solutions for electronically controlled drives.

  • Inverter technology for three-phase asynchronous and synchronous motors (also in connection with Heat-Pipe cooling for electrical control cabinets with high protection class positioned next to the machine)

Electronics
Electronics Development
From the conceptual study to the production of devices, modules, components and systems - we offer all from one source. Electronic circuits are strictly developed according to given pattern:
  1. Development and simulation with e.g. Mathlab Simulink
  2. Design of circuit diagram and development of software concepts

  4. CAD circuit board layout designed with Mentor Graphics Expedition™PCB
  5. Prototyping and type testing
  6. Testing device department for serial production

Serial Production
We are specialised in serial production of electronic modules, components and systems in our in-house production facilities. All facilities are equipped ESD-safe.

Induction Technology
Electrically conductive materials like steel shafts, rollers, pipes, wires or meltings can also be heated by induction, that means without contact. Therefore Ritter has developed special devices for smaller heat outputs of 1.5 kW to 20 kW. Especially moving parts can be heated quickly and with small effort. Sumptuous wiring for a resistive heating wire is superfluous.
 
Control Technology
Many control task solutions with standard components are insufficient. We offer the adequate devices including software and develop controller. The expenses are assessable: The development work would be already paid at a purchase quantity of 200 pieces p. a. or if the electronic controller could be beneficially integrated.
 
Special Electronics
Wherever electronics from serial production cannot be applied, we assist with our long-term experience. Our engineers develop in cooperation with our customers exactly the very electronics solution fitting to the application. Whether special drive controllers, measurement data logging in complicated geometrical structures or wireless transmission of machine parameters our special solutions contribute to a optimised exploitation of our customers' machines.

Plant Construction
A main business area of Ritter is the development of concepts for electric installations and serial concepts for machine and plant construction in our in-house production and development facilities.
 
The hardware design includes:
  • Creation of requirement specifications
  • Project planning, design, dimensioning and component selection for the electric equipment
  • Block diagram and detailed circuit diagrams with RACOS-EL-N or Eplan 5.x CAD systems.
 
Electrical Control Cabinet Productionn
Besides the development of optimised solutions and providing of electronic and electromechanical components Ritter also supplies the machines and installations with electrical control cabinets that fulfil the EMC requirements of power electronics combined with sensitive measurement and control signals. In the course of this it makes no difference whether the cabinets are equipped with our own components or with other devices. Already at early stage we have solved problems regarding for example cooling of electrical control cabinets with high protection classes to defend the electronics from aggressive environmental conditions. Our design engineers are available at any time to furnish machinery and plant equipment with special designs of electrical control cabinets using RACOS-EL and Eplan.
