DRILL CHUCKS
Röhm is a competent and innovative partner for global drill chuck requirements.
Almost all drill manufacturers are supplied with Röhm drill chucks.
We manufacture millions of excellent quality geared and rapid-action chucks, which is only possible using the most modern manufacturing and assembly technology. As links between the machine and the clamping tool, we can offer tapered mandrels, reducing sleeves, extension sleeves, drill and reamer extensions, short clamping chucks, adjustable adapters and split taper sockets. Quick, robust and accurate, Röhm offers NC tools such as draw-in collet chucks, precision short drill chucks, hydraulic expanding chucks and the induction shrink technology for clamping HM and HSS tool shafts. |

REVOLVING TAILSTOCK CENTERS
The fixed and revolving lathe centres by Röhm are popular with users.
High machining power and high working accuracy require additional support for many work pieces, due to their shape and length, in the form of a revolving lathe centre. A functional, revolving lathe centre/sleeve is required on the tailstock side as a torque transmitted chuck or face carrier. As the sole manufacturer, Röhm offers a complete sleeve range with different speeds and load values. Röhm offers high-quality constant face carriers for the efficient turning of workpieces. They were developed according to the modular principle, so the universal exchange of carrier disks and centring points is possible. |

LATHE CHUCKS
Röhm turning chucks are used wherever economic and precise clamping is required.
DURO-key bar chucks and plane spiral chucks (DIN 6350 und DIN 6351) are successfully used wherever extremely high tension forces, high concentric accuracy and reliable continuous repeatability are needed. The three-jaw DURO key bar chuck is
characterized by its very high tension force and accuracy, which is twice a high as prescribed in DIN 6386. The running and run-out accuracy of our three- and four-jawed plane spiral chucks meets DIN 6386, Part 1, Accuracy Class I. In order to machine large and heavy workpieces at the highest possible cutting capacity, optimum clamping is required using great forces. Röhm plane disks, with a diameter of up to 4500 mm and their indisputable merits have proven themselves here. |

Tool Clamping Systems
HSK/SK Tool Clamping Systems for automatic tool clamping - Positive Taper Lock System for manual and automatic tool clamping.
Increase of efficiency, reduction of cost and change to "lean production", however, optimizing quality at the same time.
So the today's requirements of the modern manufacturing. In order to carry for this development calculation, the positive taper lock was developed and tested in co-operation between the industry and the tool laboratory of the TH Aachen.
The positive taper lock connects the machine spindle as interface with the tool.
The special requirements of a modern tool change system are:
•Particularly high changing accuracy and repeatability
•Safe transmission of high torques with a defined, radial location
•High static and dynamic flexural strength
•Particular suitability for high-speed operations in milling, drilling and turning machines
•Decrease of weight and building length opposite SK tools
•Simple handling |
