EVO-Line
1, 2, 4 and 8 Megapixel with Dual-GigE or CameraLink output
A maximum of Hightech in a minimum enclosure. This was our goal for the SVCam-EVO series. EVO stands for EVOLUTION in the truest sense of the word. It was designed to offer an extreme performance: High-end Kodak Sensors are featuring a wide dynamic range. A superb imaging performance combined with high frame rates meets a robust and compact housing and SVS-VISTEK unique overclocking technology.
SVCam-EVO represents the latest level of most common and relevant camera interfaces in machine vision industry. Dual-Gigabit Ethernet or CameraLink Interface. Both interfaces are internationally standardized for highest data transfer rates between camera and PC. So we ensure an easy integration into new or existing imaging systems. With cutting-edge electronics design the cameras offer very high framerates at extremely low noise levels. The SVCam-EVO camera family enables the maximum performance required for your demanding vision applications.

Frame grabber
PCI-, PCI-X- and PCI Express frame grabbers
Frame grabbers, or image acquisition cards, are plug-in boards for PCs. Their primary task is camera image data acquisition and transfer to PC memory. SVS-Vistek differentiates between boards with either analog or digital inputs. Analog boards with up to 16 inputs are of interest to surveillance systems. SVS-Vistek also offers solutions for signals beyond common analog standards.
For machine vision systems, the AIA Cameralink standard for digital signals has prevailed. For highest data rates from a camera to the host memory this technology is used in all SVCam cameras with CameraLink interfaces. SVS-Vistek is a supplier of all products that are commonly used in slot systems such as PCI, PCI-X and PCIe.
IP-Software
Powerful, flexible and open machine vision tools
Open eVision is a large-scale software suite of reliable, powerful and flexible tools, tailored to professional machine vision.
Open, well-documented and easily comprehensible in terms of its structure, Open eVision can easily be integrated into each application requiring image processing or image analysis. Open eVision enables a development with the most common operating systems and programming environments, including ".Net". Libraries make use of the modern processor architectures and are optimized for MMX.

Illumination
LED-illumination and accessories
Dealing correctly with light is the road to success in machine vision. Like in photography, it is just the illuminating engineering that emphasizes or suppresses a feature of interest for us. The Greek word "photography" can be translated as "drawing with light".
It´s just profound knowledge of the options of correct illumination that makes that your problems can really be solved. Light has a direct influence on the subsequently following software tools and plays a decisive role for determining your strategy of solution!
Get excited about the numerous technical options.
Lenses
Crucial for the quality of images
In machine vision, the function of lenses is often underestimated. This is the wrong end to save money or to make compromises at the expense of quality. The illuminated object must be projected by the lens onto the sensor as purely as possible while fully supporting the camera´s achievable quality and resolution. The variety of choice is tremendous and basically relates to the image circle diameter, lens adaptor, image ratio, achievable resolution (MTF, line pairs), distortion, light spectrum, and many mechanical properties. Accordingly, to enable our cameras to suit at best to the performance you expect, we´d like to understand your tasks and try to find out in conjunction with each other the best and most economical selection.
  • CS- and C-Mount lenses
  • F-Mount and further "35mm systems"
  • Magnification or scan lenses up to medium format (6 x 7cm)
  • Adaptor systems from M39 to M72, "tubes and spirals"
  • Telecentrical lenses
