OptoMotive is developing FPGA based optomechatronic solutions. The company is specialized in FPGA based industrial and non-industrial high-speed intelligent cameras and architectures for demanding and real-time processing machine vision solutions.

Optomechatronics is a fusion of optical & mechatronic engineering. Mechatronics (or Mechanical and Electronics Engineering) is the synergistic combination of mechanical, electronic & control engineering, systems design engineering, and computer engineering to create most useful and efficient products and services. The purpose of this interdisciplinary engineering field is the study of automation from an engineering perspective and serves the purposes of controlling advanced hybrid systems.

CAMELEON BASEBOARD
Cameleon is a ready to use imaging solution based on popular TE0300 FPGA USB module. It offers a simple entry point to FPGA imaging. The FPGA can be used for real-time high-speed image processing.
The package includes FPGA reference design and PC software with source code. Examples in C#, MatLab, Xilinx tool suite. Image processing cores include 3D laser triangulation (3D scanning) and 2D FIR filter. It is extremely versatile and rich in free IOs, which can be used for VGA, SPI, I2C, encoders...
CAMELEON ACADEMIC PACK
Cameleon Academic Pack is completely the same as OptoMotive Cameleon itself, but it is only available for academic institutions. CAMELEON HEAD
Cameleon Sensor Head is an add-on to OptoMotive Cameleon Baseboard camera.

By adding this head to OptoMotive Cameleon camera you get a stereo or even triple sensor camera solution. OptoMotive Cameleon baseboard camera already includes support for additional heads.
 
CAMELOPARD
Camelopard is a high-performance OptoMotive USB camera based on TE0320 FPGA USB module. It uses high-performance system-on-chip (SOC) technology, combined with the latest high-speed industrial Sony CMOS sensors. The sensors exhibit high sensitivity, very low noise and no smear at maximal speed. The large camera buffer enables capture of sequence of events at very high speed.

Velociraptor is the ultimate FPGA camera with very large FPGA and extremely high speed imaging sensor. It is based on the new GigaBee modules, which incorporate dual DDR3 memory and Gigabit Ethernet. SOFTWARE
 
QTCAMERA
QtCamera is a MS Windows based Graphical User Interface (GUI) for video viewing, storing and camera control. The GUI was composed in C++ using powerful and easy to use Nokia Qt and QtCreator (both part of Qt SDK), which are LGPL licensed and can be freely downloaded from internet. The latest revision was compiled using Microsoft Visual Studio and includes openCV open source image processing library. Full source code is available together with OptoMotive Cameleon cameras in development kit for free!
CAM_API
CAM_API is a part of OptoMotive Hardware Software Development Kit. It is a MS Windows Dynamic Link Library (DLL) based Application Programmer Interface (API) used to communicate with OptoMotive cameras. It is simple to use and transparent for direct communication with the camera. Multiple usage examples simplify user application development. It is included in all of OptoMotive camera packages free of charge.
SHARKI
SHARKi is our latest MS Windows based Graphical User Interface (GUI) for video viewing, storing and camera control. The GUI was composed in C# using latest Microsoft Visual Studio and Windows Presentation Foundation libraries (WPF). Its graphical skin was developed in Microsft Silverlight and can be modified to meet customer graphical expectations. SHARKi is included in all OptoMotive Camelopard camera packages!
