Soldering robot cell LRZ series

Soldering robot cell LRZ series Video: soldering robot
The soldering robot cell, LRZ series, is developed for stable and better
quality for soldering process at the same or even less cycle time than
manual soldering.
The typical soldering processes are:
- Touch-up or resoldering of solder spot after soldering bath
- Soldering on the component side of PC board for jumper wires, connectors,
switches and so on
- Making solder joints between PCB
- Making solder joints between pins and housing on the board
- Making solder joints between metal frame and PCB
- Soldering of odd shaped components with leads at SMD- PCB
On your specific requirements we design and integrate the entire
soldering robot cell including conveyor system, fixtures or turning tables
for presenting the work piece to the soldering robot.
The soldering robot cell consists of the soldering tool, the SCARA or
cartesian robot, touch screen operation panel, robot base and safety fence.
For the stable soldering process control we are using the robot controller.
This cell controller using HARL-III robot language for the optimized
soldering motion and to set individual solder parameters at each spot such
as pre/postheating times soldering times and cleaning cycles. The soldering
spots are programmed by Teach-in method and the solder parameters can be
entered by touch screen panel.

Image Processing

Image Processing Systems
The industrial image processing plays an important roll
in many applications in the meantime. Industrial robots in cooperation with
vision system become highly flexible production tool. The robots are able to
inspect work pieces, to measure dimensions and other features and to grip
unordered parts from a conveyor.
All SCARA and Cartesian robots of Hirata can be coupled with image
processing systems of different manufacturers. It is only prerequisite that
the image processing system has a serial interface and the data interchange
is possible over an ASCII protocol. The multi tasking robot control of HAC
854 CE makes the simple interfacing with the image processing system
possible and provides the parallel, simultaneous processing of the data
without losses of time in the process sequence of operations.
Don't you require any particular image processing system, we contact
competent suppliers of vision systems and work out a conclusive overall
solution.

Auto Stocker
Hirata‘s Autostocker are compact tray feeders with function of
buffering, separation and centering of trays. The Autostockers can
be easily combined with robots.
The supply of work pieces to robots or handling devices is one of
the most important processes within an automated system. The parts
have to be presented very precisely and in the right orientation. To
this end the usage of trays or blisters is very helpful.
Supplying and changing of trays can be proceeded efficient and
reliable through Hirata‘s Autostocker. Precise positioning and short
change time of the trays as well as large tray buffer capacity
fulfill the requirements of an automized production system in an
optimal way.
Typical usage of Autostockers is in the area of small part assembly
and palletizing of work pieces from plastic molding machines.
High efficiency
- The Auto Stocker with Hirata’s SCARA or cartesian robot performs
not only simple loading/unloading but also precise assembly
- Standard tray sizes are 400 x 300 to 800 x 600 mm with max. load
100 kg
Space saving
- The vertical flow of the tray saves the space and many trays can
be stacked with optional conveyors.
Full automation
- Combination with Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) completes the full
automatic system.
|
| |
|
High efficiency
For automatic production systems a parts feeder to robot is one of
an important element. If orientation and position of workpieces are
not accurate, automatic system will not run efficiently. Frequently,
sensitive or odd-shaped parts are not suitable for bowl feeders and
vision systems will not be economical solution. These parts should
be presented by trays which are available in the market and easy to
transfer an reuse.
|
 |
Space saving
Hirata’s Auto Stocker solves your tray feeding problem economically.
The Auto Stocker is designed as tray changing system to palletize or
depalletize workpieces by robot. Its accurate positioning, fast tray
change time and sufficient storage of trays meet the requirement of
your automaticproduction system. The typical applications for the
Auto Stocker are for assembly operation, palletizing for injection
molding machines and loading/unloading workpieces for machine tools.
|
 |
Full automation
If the buffer capacity of two piles of full trays and one pile of
empty trays not enough you can attach additional buffer segments to
the basic tray feeder. If a pile of full trays is heavier than 15 kg
in case of frequent tray change respectively maximal 25 kg in case
of once in a while it is forbitten by law that the operator carries
the tray stack. In such cases it is possible to add on a docking
station for a cart which feeds in and out the the trays. In the full
automated version of the tray feeder you can connect the Autostocker
with an AGV.

Robot controller HAC-854CE
The robot control contains all functions of a motion control and
furthermore offers the possibility to control the periphery
processes. Through it use of an additional sequence control (PLC) is
no longer necessary. The robot control is a microprocessor system
which works according to the multi tasking method. It can work up to
32 sequential control process simultaneously.
