Stainless steel valves

It is often a demand to use stainless steel components for food processing, industrial washing, the water treatment industries and other hygienic services.
Danfoss has now got the solution.

The wide stainless steel valve program is suitable for many industrial purposes; cleaning solvents, demineralized water/steam as well as applications where stainless steel exterior is required due to an aggressive environment.
There can be several reasons for this demand: When the demand is a Stainless Steel environment, all the components including the valves of course also have to be made of stainless steel, even if a lower grade of metal as for example common brass would be able to operate satisfactory.

The demand for stainless steel can also be caused by a need for external cleaning of the entire system with more or less aggressive cleansing agents or cleaning solvents. In dairies it is necessary to clean the halls which is often done with hot water or steam. To ensure that the components do not corrode or develop an unappealing surface, the components must be made of stainless steel. In such cases the need for stainless steel is confined to the external surface. In other cases where you have to supply aggressive media like demineralised water/steam or cleansing agents/solvents, the need is for stainless steel on the internal surface of the components.

For such purposes, i.e. supply of water - steam - demineralised water/steam - cleansing agents - cleaning preparation - cleaning solvents, Danfoss now offer a wide program of industrial valves in stainless steel.
