New miniature designs have been added and it has been possible to reduce the installation length of existing models, drastically in some cases. For example, the plug-in versions of the new 6,5 mm and 8 mm ranges have a length of just 28 mm, which puts them amongst the shortest of their type world-wide. The inductive proximity switches of the 3 mm series are available from now on in various miniature designs. Particularly notable are the 16 mm compact version and the IFRM 03P1505/CS35L, whose sensor head, separated from the electronics, has a length of 12 mm.
With these smallest of sensors, you can find your way into the field of extremely constricted installation conditions without difficulty. Of course, all of these advanced products are equipped with short-circuit and reverse polarity protection and with voltage surge and EMT protection.
