The rapidity of installation is based on the con-struction of the power and data bus that accepts round and flat conductors throughout by insulation displacement. All the Rapid Link function modules are ‘plugged’ into the power and data bus, to switch, protect or control the required drives.
Thanks to manual operation, commissioning is possible even without an electronic controller, which eliminates waiting times, and renders PLC test programs superfluous. The efficiency of Rapid Link makes it possible for an engineer to commission more than 50 drives per day.
Rapid Link motor-starter and speed control units are proving their reliability not only in goods distribution centres but also in airports and the automotive industry. Since the power and data bus is contacted without having to be divided, the user is saved many a time-consuming search for a fault.
