Lenze has designed a new dynamic speed drive specifically for multi-axis applications. The devices therefore have a high dynamic response and overload capacity.

The system functions have been designed for use with central control concepts, and new specific servo motor designs have also been developed.

The new Lenze speed drive range provides devices, which are suitable for driving handling systems and robots as well as for the entire packaging machine sector.

Lenze has fitted the optimized actuators for synchronous operation with a central supply unit. This enables an exchange of energy through the common use of the DC bus and also manages a brake resistor for dynamic sequences of motions. This saves on wiring costs as well as switching elements and line filters in the mains input.

As part of this concept, Lenze has launched a range of new servo motors with a considerably higher performance level. The motors are fitted with an electronic nameplate, which makes start-up much easier. All essential motor and encoder data is stored on the memory chip. When the speed drive is switched on it reads the latest data and sets its control parameters on the connected motor. It couldn't be easier !
