Adds ultrasonic sensors to the product line

A complete range of ultrasonic sensors has been added to the Carlo Gavazzi product line; designed for both distance measurement and object detection in tough environments

The complete line is available in IP67 protection and has extreme high EMC performance, which secures safe and reliable operation in applications where high electromagnetic fields exist such as near motors and communication towers.

Distance measuring and object detection can be carried out in the range of 100mm to 8000 mm depending on sensor type. The two common sensing principles, Diffuse and Thru-Scan, are available. Sensor performance, based on either principle, is unaffected by the objects’ colour, material composition or the objects ambient surrounding such as light, smoke or steam. 

To respond to the general requirements of industry, three different types have been developed : BASIC ultrasonic sensors, ultrasonic sensors with Teach-In configuration set-up and, ultrasonic sensors with Windows based software for applications where specific settings, such as ambient suppression, are required. 

The sensor line should response to industry needs in the applications area of the agriculture, ceramic & glass, food & beverage, chemical, material handling, packaging, printing, plastic & rubber, pulp & paper, textile, water and waste water treatment and wood industry.
