FANUC Robotics offers an extensive line of robots, software and hardware designed to provide metal fabricators with complete, reliable and cost-effective laser processing solutions. The new LASER Mate System 1 is one of the industry's most state-of-the-art robotic laser products.
LASER Mate System 1 is a compact and cost-effective laser processing work cell designed for automotive and non-automotive metal fabricators. This high-performance system is equipped with a safe operator station that includes a laser processing robot within a patented, light-tight enclosure.
According to Mike Sharpe, FANUC Robotics' manager of materials joining, LASER Mate System 1 is ideal for laser processing of a wide range of products such as stamped components.
The system is compact and has a simple operator interface, allowing operators to load and unload products from a single station. The tooling plate allows multiple tools to be effectively swapped for quick changeover. New software features simplify teaching by blending points to smooth the laser process.
