The "AG-mill Roughing" enhanced the balance of friction resistance, toughness and chipping resistance at the maximum with newly developed high alloy high speed steel, a TiAIN-related AG coating and an optimum design of the end mill shape. These features enabled high efficient milling equal to that of carbide end mills and achieved marked stability.
The "AG-mill Roughing" features the easiness to use which is not found in coated carbide end mills. It can be used for broad varieties of machines. Re-grinding is easy and no recoating is needed because it is high speed steel end mill.
It demonstrates the better cost performance than carbide end mills because of its high performance and easiness to use.
Nachi-Fujikoshi
will release three types by different cutting edge lengths, so the choice by suitable cutting edge length for application is possible.
Features of the Product
-
By adopting newly developed high alloy high speed steel, cutting performance is equal to that of carbide end mills. It demonstrates high cost performance.
-
Adoption of a TiAIN-related AG coating enhanced heat resistance, friction resistance, and it achieved a long life.
-
Adoption of a fine pitch cutting edge shape reduces the cutting resistance. It demonstrates a stable performance in roughing of flutes and sides.
Applicable work materials: Carbon steel, alloy steel, pre-hardened steel, cast iron, etc.
