Fluidtrans Compomac 2008

A HIGH LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION HAS BEEN PLEDGED TO FLUIDTRANS COMPOMAC - THE BENCHMARK INTERNATIONAL EVENT FOR ITS SECTOR IN 2008.

The 27th May, the inauguration day of FLUIDTRANS COMPOMAC, the Biennial International Exhibition of Fluid Power, Power and Motion Transmission, Drive, Control Equipment and Industrial Design, which is scheduled to take place at Fieramilano, in Rho, is quickly drawing closer and the organization's engine is running at full steam ahead. 

The exhibition area booking trend is looking positive. The climate of confidence which characterizes the sector in Italy and which has found confirmation in the end of year data and in the progress of the order portfolio, in fact, offers interesting investment opportunities: a signal which has already been picked up by numerous companies, who have already pledged their participation, from France, Finland, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Romania, Turkey and the USA, as well as Asiatic countries, particularly China and Taiwan which, by increasing their support twofold in comparison with the past, pursue their policy of establishing a strong presence in the most industrialized of countries, that started out quietly some years ago, specifically with their participation to international shows.


Indeed, for over forty years now, FLUIDTRANS COMPOMAC has been symbolized as a qualified showcase for the evolution of the benchmark sectors, and as an unmissable opportunity for companies wishing to be the market’s leading players to exchange ideas. This unique 2008 international event, which is dedicated to the fluid technology sector, will provide an opening for the leading global companies to showcase the most eclectic of innovations, effective applications and original solutions. The exhibition is a suitable framework upon which talks may be opened up and economic agreements developed with technicians, planners and operatives from a multitude of sectors and from all over the world.

FLUIDTRANS COMPOMAC will be taking place in conjunction with three other significant exhibitions: BIAS, Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control and BI.MAN, in order to provide managers, technicians and planners from all the industrial sectors with an extensive offering, ranging from automation to instrumentation, from microelectronics to ICT for industry, from power transmission to motion control and maintenance. The technological and product overview is thus complete and is further enhanced by an opportunity for direct comparisons between different technologies.

In order to complement the offerings on show, the FLUIDTRANS COMPOMAC visitors will also be provided with an opportunity to attend a seminar programme which is expected to be particularly rich in content. Amongst the initiatives already confirmed, a special mention must go to the Leonardo da Vinci Award organised by AIPI, the Italian Association of Industrial Engineers, which was conceived in order to reward both people and companies capable of distinguishing themselves for their capacity to turn their ideas into substance of an industrial nature. In addition to what has already been mentioned, the climate of confidence must be taken into account (in spite of a degree of slowdown attributable to the high cost of oil, as well as the appreciation of the Euro against the dollar and the yen, plus the US loan crisis), which characterises the sector, finds confirmation in the end of year data and in the progress of the order portfolio, supported by the particularly positive trends registered by the major application sectors.

Fluidtrans Compomac 2008 is promoted by Fiera Milano Tech and Assofluid, Italian Association of Hydraulics and Pneumatics manufacturers, and is organized by F&M Fiere & Mostre.
