Z-Lift
Pneumatic lifting axes for determined linear vertical
movements
Zasche Z-Lift is a pneumatically powered lifting axis. Owing to its design,
it provides rigid, offset load guidance in particular for joining tasks in
the vertical axis. Z-Lift units can be used to guide loads easily and
safely, since movements of the hand are transferred direct to the load.
Thanks to their aluminium profile sections, Z-Lift units feature
particularly low masses and offer light operation. Low-maintenance linear
guidance systems with re-circulating ball bearings are used, which require
only low manual forces for the lifting motion.
The guide system is a hardened and ground steel guide of machine tool
quality. The lifting motion is driven by a light-running pneumatic cylinder.
The Z-Lift is available in two sizes:
Z-L 6
Load capacity up to 160 kg and moments up to 600 Nm
Z-L 12
Load capacity up to 300 kg and moments up to 1,200 Nm

Z-Arm
Pneumatic parallelogram manipulators in many different
variants
The Zasche Z-Arm is a pneumatic parallelogram manipulator. It features
particularly light operation and requires only low manual forces for moving
the loads. Owing to its design, it ensures loads are handled in a
permanently stable position.
It is available in three sizes with load capacities of up to 300 kg and an
outreach of up to 3,500 mm. The smallest range features a unit that has been
optimised in terms of size and dead weight and is particularly suitable for
application in restricted space or on assembly lines.
Z-Arm units can be used in the following combinations:
• mounted on a pillar
• as suspended travelling units
• as suspended stationary units

Rope balancer
Pneumatic balancing with the rope balancer for fast
repositioning of loads
The rope balancer is a pneumatically powered hoist unit. Thanks to the low
manual force required for the horizontal movement, these units are the
optimum solution for careful load balancing and positioning. In particular
complicated positioning and assembly tasks can be performed easily and
safely with this unit. Rope balancers make it possible to reposition loads
quickly in short cycles.
There are two different basic units:
D-BP 55
Load capacity 50 kg (at 6 bar)
D-BP 110
Load capacity 100 kg (at 6 bar)

SpeedHoist
The fast electric lifting device, when no compressed
air is available
The SpeedHoist electric rope winch is specially designed for fast load
handling applications with loads weighing up to 160 kg.
It is used when it is not necessary to balance the load or no compressed air
is available.

Manulift
Manulift units operate on the same principle as electric
chain hoists. They feature an integrated quick-change connector for load
handling modules.
The control handle is designed so that it is suited for guiding loads at the
same time. Your second hand thus remains free.
The frequency-controlled version of the Manulift features an integrated
inverter for infinitely variable control of the lifting and lowering speed.
Loads weighing up to max. 250 kg can be lifted using Manulift units.

 |
KSL
The proven pillar-mounted crane with ergonomic pivot
arm
Rigid load lifting modules, such as Z-Lift pneumatic lifting axes or
electric telescopic lifting devices type TR/TV can also be fitted to KSL
pivot arms. This combination is a particularly cost-effective variant for
rigid load handling.
|
|
|
|
KSL medium/light
The small pivot arm. Light, fast and flexible
Pivot arms type KSL-medium and KSL-light are combined with Demag rope
balancers or Demag SpeedHoists which are fitted above the pillar. Therefore,
they offer the operator highly convenient, smooth and flexible load
handling, as only the relatively low dead weight of the arm has to be moved.
They are available with load capacities of up to 160 kg and, depending on
the design, an outreach of up to 5,000 mm.

 |
Slewing jib crane
The proven and inexpensive starter system
Pillar and wall-mounted jib cranes are used together with rope balancers
or chain hoists for very simple lifting operations. They are fitted with
jibs made of special cold-rolled profile sections featuring a relatively
low dead weight in relation to their outreach and SWL.
Wall-mounted slewing cranes do not require any floor space, pillar-mounted
slewing cranes can be mounted anywhere.

Telescoping units
The inexpensive alternative for high load capacities
Telescopic lifting devices are lifted and lowered by inside or outside
running chains of electrically driven Demag chain hoists. They are available
with two different design principles. Either with square masts as square
section telescoping units (TV) or with round masts as round section
telescoping units (TR). Both variants are available with single telescoping
sections as well as double telescoping sections.
Telescoping units are particularly suitable for handling heavy workpieces up
to 1,000 kg and they can take up large moments of up to 1,500 Nm. Depending
on the design, strokes of up to max. 2,000 mm are possible.
They can either be fitted in a Demag KBK rail system or on a KSL pivot arm
with pillar mounted on the floor.
They can also be used in low buildings with double telescoping sections.

Vacuum Tube Lifter

Inexpensive Handling with Vacuum
Vacuum tube lifters are particularly suitable for lifting and moving
airtight and porous loads such as, for example, cartons, sacks, barrels,
glass panes, wooden and metal sheets and many other applications. They
feature a load capacity of up to 300 kg.
The load is exclusively gripped and lifted with one medium, i.e. vacuum.
This vacuum is generated by means of an external vacuum blower. There is no
need for chain or rope hoists or any other lifting appliance to grip and
lift the load. Vacuum tube lifters are integrated in crane installations
optimised for the respective application. However, they can also be easily
integrated in existing crane installations. Workpieces can be handled in the
horizontal direction or also be slewed through 90° by means of vacuum tube
lifters. A modular system consisting of variable grippers and slewing units
that offer versatile combination possibilities permits easy adaptation of
the unit to special requirements.
Special solutions and adaptations can be provided at any time.

KBK crane
To serve large working areas
Depending on the requirements of the application, either KBK (steel) or KBK
Aluline (aluminium) rail systems are used.

Floor-running handling devices

The
flexible alternative to a column
Floor-running equipment is a special type of manual handling equipment.
These devices are used in particular for applications in which cycle times
are not critical for the handling tasks or when it is not wanted or possible
to attach a manipulator on the ground or on the ceiling. Floor-running
equipment offer a particularly inexpensive variant of manipulators, and are
easily operated owing to their simple and robust design. Operation is
possible in purely mechanical, electrical (re-chargeable battery), hydraulic
or pneumatic mode. A further benefit of this type of equipment is that a
floor-running solution can be operated independently of a special mounting
location. It must be taken into consideration that these manipulators only
permit relatively short vertical lifting movements, their possible outreach
is limited if it is not possible to move under the load and that the ground
characteristics (e.g. flatness, continuity) must fulfil specific
requirements.

Control systems
The appropriate standard control system for every
application
Our control systems are designed to match the equipment and the task to be
performed by the handling system.
Comprehensive quality tests and function tests throughout
the manufacturing process guarantee
maximum operating safety and reliability.
The components used comply with the latest DIN and VDE regulations. Controls
can be combined with individual pneumatic load lifting module
configurations.
Therefore, they can be used with Zasche Z-Arm units as well as Zasche-Z-Lift
units and rope balancers.

Travel drives
To supplement your handling system
Electric or pneumatic travel drives for the crane bridge and/or crab frame
travel motions are an advantage when handling larger loads (e.g. from 500
kg) or in the case of short cycle times.
Specially developed for handling applications, RF 100 drives can be used for
KBK II and KBK II-L profile sections and for KBK Aluline 120 and 180
aluminium profile sections.
The advantage of the disengaging travel drive version is that the handling
device can also be smoothly positioned by hand, if necessary.
