Hydraulics can be used wherever force and movement need to be controlled. Pumps
Hydraulic pumps from Bucher Hydraulics are available in both internal gear and external gear designs, suitable for medium and high pressure applications. They are powerful yet compact, reliable yet cost effective, and together with their high efficiency, long service life and fine size increments, these are key reasons for using these pumps.
 
External gear pumps, series AP
The essential components of series AP external gear pumps are an aluminium alloy body and two gearwheels supported by plain bearings.  The front flange can be the SAE standard, or the British or German OEM patterns. The various frame sizes can be combined with each other, enabling double and triple pumps to be assembled.

High Pressure Internal Gear Pumps QX
The QX pumps are the 5th generation of Bucher internal gear pumps, which have proven themselves in thirty years of service around the world. The straightforward and rugged construction guarantees long service life without the need for extensive maintenance. Tandem and multiple pumps are available worldwide in more than 1000 variants.

Internal Gear Pumps QXV
(for low-viscosity fluids)
The QVX is an internal gear pump for low viscosity. It can develope pressures of 300 bar with high efficiency at viscosities of around 1 mm²/s. The QXV is beeing used with great success to pump aviation jet fuels, paraffin oil/kerosene, brake fluids, Pentosin and HFA fluids.

Internal Gear Pump QXP Metering pump for polyurethane production
The QXP is an internal gear pump for metering isocyanates, polyols, additives and other fluids. Combined with a variable-speed drive, the QXP is being applied very successfully as a metering pump in the production of polyurethane.

Internal Gear Unit QXM
The QXM drive unit can be used in open- and closed-loop hydrostatic drives, and can operate both as a pump and as a motor.  The QXM works as a pump to lift the load and it can recover energy when the load is being lowered. Used as a bi-directional pump / motor (four-quadrant operation), the unit can control the complete motion cycle of a cylinder.

Motors
Amongst their advantages, hydraulic motors from Bucher Hydraulics have a low weight-to power ratio and are extremely compact. The variety of types, such as internal gear, external gear and the roller-stator design, provide the best solutions for vehicles and equipment such as agricultural and forestry machinery, construction plant, municipal vehicles, industrial trucks, winches and stationary equipment. Their suitability for energy-saving drive systems is a particular benefit for many applications.
 
External gear motors, series APM
The essential components of series APM external gear motors are an aluminium alloy body and two gearwheels supported by plain bearings. The front flange can be the SAE standard, or the British or German OEM patterns. Particular attention has been focussed on the design of the shaft seal, which is often affected by back-pressures.

Gerotor Motors
Gerotor motors are slow speed / high torque motors.
The power element of this motor is the power unit, comprising rotor, outer ring (stator) and 7 cylinders. The patented rotor profile prevents direct leakage between the pressure chambers, resulting in negligible internal leakage and high volumetric efficiency.

Internal Gear Unit QXM

Internal-Gear Motor, Series QXM-HS
The QXM-HS (High Speed) internal-gear motor was developed specifically for use at extremely high speeds. Its first-rate efficiency and extremely low noise levels also make a significant contribution to reducing the costs of both energy and anti-noise measures. Thanks to the special motor flange, adapted for such applications, and the integral ports for auxiliary functions, the motor can be used in many applications without needing any further modification.

Internal Gear Flow Divider QXT
Series QXT internal flow dividers divide a flow into as many as four portions. The division ratios are constant and are unaffected by the loads at the actuators. They can be used, for example, to provide synchronised movement of unequally loaded cylinders. Several hydraulic motors can be driven at the same speed, irrespective of their external loads.

Power Units
The UP range of power units are compact assemblies consisting of gear pump, electric motor valve block and oil tank. ET Electro-hydraulic Pump
The essential components of series ET electro pumps are an external gear pump and a D.C. motor. The 12 and 24 VDC motors feature high efficiencies and precision-balanced rotors for low-vibration running. They are combined with our AP05 - AP100 external gear-pumps to produce the ET series of electro-pumps, a family of products that are notable for their low noise levels in operation. Simplicity of construction and reduction in size are the fundamental objectives in the design of the ET electro-pumps.

Directional Spool Valves
Directional spool valves are used in control and safety roles in the operating and travel hydraulics of mobile plant and machinery. There are different designs and functions such as pressure compensators, pressure limiters, check, relief and flow valves to suit all requirements. On 1st July, 2003 the European Parliament issued new directives concerning minimum levels required to improve the health and safety protection of workers who could be endangered by potentially explosive atmospheric conditions. Directional Seat Valves
These lightweight aluminium valves are suitable for controlling single or double acting actuators. They are particularly suited to applications which demand a high degree of leak tightness. They are directly controlled 2/2 bi-directional seat valves which are solenoid operated. Their purpose is to control the feed and return pipes on hydraulic equipment with virtually zero leakage.

Flow Valves
Flow dividers and flow control valves are frequently used in mobile utility vehicles and stationary plant. Depending on the requirements involved, there are many different designs and additional functional features such as pressure relief valves, bypass valves, lock valves and shock valves. Differential lock valves have been developed specifically for applications in hydrostatic drives with hydraulic motors connected in parallel in open and closed loop systems.
