Print and Apply Labeling Systems

Label printer and applicators that meet your demands!

Our print-apply label machines print labels with variable data before they apply them fully automatically to your products or packages.

Get in touch with our experts

Print-and-apply labeling systems combine a label printer and a label dispenser in one single machine. Our label printer applicators will automatically print and apply labels to your products, cartons or pallets – in one single process. Since each production process is customised, we use a clever modular system to guarantee you the optimal labeling solution that meets your specific demands. Weber Marking Systems' modular concept for labeling modules

Our Legi-Air models are designed for effortless integration into existing production lines. They are versatile and future proof, thanks especially to the modular structure of the systems. A cleverly designed modular system capable of up to 1 500 combinations allows us to meet virtually all labelling requirements. Easy handling and compact design are additional advantages. Setting up times are reduced to a minimum because all the consumables are fast and easy to replace. Our label printing dispensers are assembled based on the following modules:

Tamp pad

Quick-change tamp pads will allow label sizes ranging from small nameplates up to large EAN shipping labels to be processed. The quick-change option allows formats to be changed within seconds. Spring-loaded tamp pads adapt to uneven surfaces on the product, ensuring that the labels will apply perfectly.

Print modules

Our print modules allow optimal adaptation to a specific application and its printing requirements: interfaces, print resolution, maximum printing width, processing speed, RFID capability and much more. The print modules of all leading manufacturers such as Zebra, Sato, Avery, Datamax etc., are compatible without a problem. This will guarantee top flexibility, including future requirements.

Label winder and unwinder

Our large roll winders and unwinders will minimise required set-up times and thus reduce idle times. Label rolls on spool diameters up to 430 mm and with 900 m of label liner ensure long production runs per spool. Operating in tandem will ensure uninterrupted production.

Control

Industrial PCs and master controllers offer top flexibility with integration. The hardware periphery is seamlessly integrated via conventional interfaces such as Ethernet, Profibus, serial and parallel data links and USB ports. Scanners, cameras and special sensors guarantee additional labelling reliability.

Enclosure

Temperature-controlled enclosures for temperatures above and below system specifications will offer optimal protection. Specially sealed enclosures are suited for rough production environments where equipment is subject to dust, dirt and moisture.

Precision guides

Optional precision guides can offer tolerances of ± 0.5 mm where needed. This will allow fast, reliable and accurate labelling of, for instance, window profiles and printed circuit boards.
