ALUMINUM CONVEYOR SYSTEMS
The standard conveyors from FlexLink are based on
an aluminum conveyor beam with low friction slide rails guiding a plastic
multi-flexing chain.
Together, the conveyor platforms cover a wide range of applications. These
multiflexing conveyor systems use plastic chains in many configurations. The
chain design permits horizontal as well as vertical change of direction.
Chain widths range from 43 mm up to 295 mm, for product widths up to 400 mm.
Each system consists of a wide range of modular components which can be
fitted using simple hand tools.
|
|
|
|
X45 (43 mm)
X45 is a system suitable for small products and whenever
compact integration of conveyors to machinery and equipment is required.
|
 |
XS (44 mm)
The XS conveyor permits transport of very small items
which are otherwise difficult to handle. The design is neat and compact.
|
 |
XL (63 mm)
The XL conveyor system is suitable for a wide range of
applications, and preferable in high speed applications. It includes
components for pallet handling (XLP) and vertical wedge conveyors.
|
 |
X85 (83 mm)
The X85 conveyor offers longest in class MTBF (Mean Time
Between Failures) and lowest in class noise level. Preconfigured conveyor
recipes and engineering tools makes engineering fast, accurate and easy.
|
 |
XH (103 mm)
Suitable for larger items, especially if point of balance
is somewhat off center. The system offers higher capacity than XS and XL.
The XH conveyor is also available in a stainless steel version.
|
|
|
|
XK (102 mm)
Suitable for larger items, especially if point of balance
is somewhat off center. Higher capacity than other types. Includes
components for pallet handling.
|
 |
XB (175/295 mm)
The FlexLink XB conveyor system is designed to transport
bulky or soft, pliable, ready-packed products which call for the stable
support of a wide chain.
|
 |
XW (300–1200 mm)
The XW conveyor system is a system for wide applications.
It offers many of the benefits of the original FlexLink systems. The added
advantage of a wide chain permits effective transport and accumulation in
many different configurations.

PCB BUFFERS
Servo
controlled FIFO/LIFO buffer
The F1200 FIFO/LIFO Buffer utilizes a high speed servo control system, which
accurately positions the carriage for precise transfers. The FIFO/LIFO uses
a revolutionary transport system that simplifies the storage of PC boards.
This new system totally eliminates the need for pushers, pullers, and belted
carriage assemblies. The FIFO/LIFO incorporates a user-friendly touch screen
interface that displays real-time event messages.
|
 |
PCB DESTACKERS
Bare board destacker
The F1000 Bare board destacker is used when unpopulated PC boards are
required to be introduced in a production line. The module can hold up to a
300 mm (12") stack of unpopulated PC boards at a weight of 30 kg (66 lbs.).
The unit is able to segregate one board from its stack onto the production
line by utilizing a technically advanced releasing mechanism. It is able to
achieve cycle times of less than 5 seconds per board.
|
 |
ELEVATORS
Board elevator (wave loader)
The F1700 Elevator is used when an elevation or transfer angle change is
required in a production line. The unit is typically used before and after a
wave solder machine.
The Elevator uses a pneumatically actuated guided slide assembly to
accurately change elevations or transfer angles at cycles times under 9
seconds.
|
 |
PCB INVERTERS
High
speed rotation with pinpoint accuracy
The F1100 Board inverter is used to invert a PC board when required in
top-side/bottom-side manufacturing. The unit uses a servo controlled
high-speed rotate mechanism to invert the board with pinpoint accuracy. It
is able to cradle the board during its rotate cycle by using a two-sided
belt support system. The module is able to achieve cycle times of less than
8 seconds per board by utilizing its “flip-flip” software functions.

on pallets. Typical applications can be tissue paper rolls, all sorts of
plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, etc.
|
 |
PICK AND PLACE SOLUTIONS
Picking and placing is where a robot moves items from one
place to another, for example from a conveyor in a production line to
another conveyor in a packaging line. The robot is often guided by a vision
system.
|
|
|
|
