        Some examples:
      • Fork lift can be delivered with load capacity up to 6 000 kg and lift heights up to 9 meters. This can be combined with quad directional motion (Six wheels total with dual spring loaded drive wheels in bogie with castor wheels, and separate castor wheel bogie for high stability. Dual steer/drive units makes quad direction motion possible)

    • AGVE supplies a wide line of products for producing automated guided vehicles ranging from control components, operator panels and navigational sensors to complete electrical/mechanical packages with full software support.

      The on-board AGV-control system is developed to be less costly when compared to other technologies, without compromising the functionality, flexibility, and quality required.

            • The CB80 Control Board has been designed as a complete control platform for all automated guided vehicle functions such as navigation, motion control, communication, operator interfaces, and safety. It supports PC and user interfaces via Ethernet, CAN, USB, serial, LED/LCD display interfaces.
            • INT20 Interface Expansion Board

            • INT20 is a full scale I/O interface board to be used in conjunction with the CB12 or CB80 controller. It communicates with the noise immune and stable AGV parallel bus, and contains digital I/O’s, chopper, and encoder interfaces

              • Laser

              • The predominant method for navigation used by AGVE is laser measurement. AGVE offers full support and developmental tools for various components and guidance methods. As the main component for navigation, AGVE uses commercially available scanners from SICK (Guidance Ltd and Kollmorgen scanners also supported).

                Two different methods of navigation are supported:
                  • Reflector Navigation

                  • This is the standard navigation method, using cylindrical or flat reflectors mounted on walls, column or posts. Data from the position survey is stored in the scanner before the run. The vehicle position is then determined by calculations within the scanner. AGVE prefers to use the SICK NAV350 scanner and in-house built cylindrical reflectors.
                  • Contour Navigation

                  • This navigation method uses raw distance measurement of the environment. It is suited for applications where the surroundings are non-changing (e.g. corridors with clear, visible walls) and the surrounding objects make only small movements (e.g. people or manual trucks). AGVE uses SICK proximity scanners (e.g. S300) for recognizing surroundings and thereby guiding the vehicle along the layout.

                    • AGVE supports the traditional navigation method using wires embedded in the floor for both steering and position updating. A wide variety of inductive antennas are available. All antennas are sealed to handle tough environment and easily adjustable for unique frequency requirements.
                    • Guide Frequency Generator

                    • Current & frequency driver for guide wires:
                      • Drives up to 1 km of guide wire (up to 2 km with an optional FGT-20 transformer).
                      • User adjustable frequency in the range 400Hz – 12kHz in 0,4Hz steps
                      • User adjustable current output.

                  • Magnet & Gyro

                        • Magnet Sensor & Gyro

                        • For free ranging navigation, AGVE uses magnets embedded in the floor in order to provide a unique sensor for high accuracy detection. In addition to the magnet sensor, this solution uses a solid-state gyroscope for navigation between position updates from magnets.
                          • Calculates speed and direction with the help of a gyro sensor.

                          • Complete Components Kits

                          • AGVE offers sets of control components selected, designed, and adapted according to customer specification. AGVE will provide the necessary electrical and software engineering, and will also supply the kit in the form of pre-assembled cabinets or electric panels that allow for easy connections to battery, drive, sensors, navigation, and safety devices.

                            The kits are aimed at customers supplying the mechanical parts of the vehicle or who, for example, choose to automate a standard manual handling equipment. As AGVE has a unique and well proven experience in providing compatibility with different guiding and communication techniques, the kits are also suitable for upgrading old AGV’s from various manufacturers.

                          • ACE 2000 SDK

                          • ACE2000 SDK- AGV Control Executive Software Development Kit – the development platform for programming AGV’s using ACE – is our high level language for programming AGV applications. ACE is used for control of all automatic functions of AGVs equipped with AGVE’s on-board control system. It is uniquely designed to support all features of our control concept and meets requirements set by even the most complex vehicles.
                          • Layout Definition Kit – LDK

                          • The Layout Definition Kit (LDK) is a powerful tool for the design of an entire AGV system. It is used as a plug-in for AutoCAD via an additional AGV related menu. With LDK all ACE tables, curve shapes, and routing data are automatically generated. LDK is designed to work together with the ACE2000SDK to produce code for all available AGVE control boards. Main LDK features are:

                            • Sweep region monitoring, for optimizing use of available floor space
                            • Station definition for load handling
                            • Layout Build file for traffic control generation
                            • Host simulation, a useful test tool
                          • Remote Panel

                          • Remote Panel is a tool developed by AGVE to achieve full AGV operators interface capabilities remotely on a PC. This is convenient in systems where the AGV’s either do not use a panel on board, or have only the rugged, simple DIS20 Display. The tool will make your PC act as the AGV Panel, allowing operators to access all DIS40/DIS30 functions remotely preferably via WLAN or other network connections. This is also convenient when AGV’s operate in environments that are less friendly or dangerous for operators. Remote Panel is easily configured with IP/port address for the AGV to control.
                          • AGV Simulator – AGVESim

                          • AGVESim is an AGVE licensed PC software tool for simulation of one or several AGV’s in a system. Using AGVESim, an entire system can be simulated and tested prior to installation, saving time and resources. The GUI will represent a true view of the AGV Operators Panel. The real-time simulation will execute the ACE commands and use the true protocol to communicate with the host system to be verified. With AGVESim both on- and off-board software can be thoroughly debugged and system performance can be safely verified prior to installation on site.
