        AGV vehicles are independent, unmanned vehicles that can transport materials around a factory or warehouse.

        In response to requests from our customers, the engineers of WEWO Europe B.V. developed a proprietary system for AGV vehicles. AGV is short for Automatic Guided Vehicle. AGV vehicles are independent, unmanned vehicles that can – among other things - transport materials around a factory or warehouse. The cart is equipped with a safety scanner with multiple safety fields, which means it can safely move around in an area with personnel present.

        The possibilities offered by an AGV system are infinite. For example, an AGV vehicle can be equipped with a scissor table, which means it can always be adjusted to the most appropriate, ergonomic height.

            Bleubotics ANT® software

            ANT® is simple and robust
            ANT® uses natural structures in the environment as a reference for localization. No infrastructure is required. (no need for inductive wires, magnets, or reflectors for triangulation). ANT® can also make use of simple reflectors in combination with natural structures.

            ANT® is quick to install
            ANT® powered vehicles are quickly installed using the ANT® lab tool suite. This makes the settings easy and economical to install and maintain. It does not matter whether it is a single vehicle or a large fleet.

            ANT® is very precise
            ANT® combines information from industrial encoders and laser scanners to reach an accuracy of ± 1 cm and ± 1°. ANT® makes use of the data from the safety laser scanners on the vehicle.

            ANT® lab
            The new ANT® lab is a fully integrated solution that supports the installation of our products. This includes the configuration of the vehicles, collecting all information and creating the routes, traffic management and monitoring.
            The controls for integrators and end-users could not be easier.

            ANT® server
            The ANT® server contains BlueBotics "traffic management", the interface to the customer's equipment, and the operator interface. The traffic management system makes use of the ANT® features to streamline the entire configuration process.

            The ANT® server provides visualization of the fleet in 3D, while 2-D control is still applicable. Using a simulation, a clear overview of the AGV fleet and the associated movements is available at all times.

          • NAVIGATION METHODS

          • Safe movement of unmanned vehicles in an area with personnel present

            The cart is equipped with a safety scanner with multiple safety fields, which means it can safely move around in an area with personnel present.


            Guidance by following a line (optical/magnetic)
            A camera or field detection device is mounted on the vehicle. The camera determines the location of the line in the image and uses that to laterally position the vehicle. With the aid of 2-D codes, the camera can receive commands (only with line guidance), as well as position the vehicle in the direction of travel.

            Rails and fixed guidance
            Rail guidance is the most robust way of providing guidance. The vehicle follows a fixed path that has been defined in advance. However, it is also the least flexible form of guidance.

            Laser scanner
            A laser scanner, which is mounted on the top of the vehicle, scans the area looking for reflectors. The AGV converts the data from the laser scanner into location data through a triangulation algorithm (measuring method). Using dead-reckoning (measuring method), this positional data is confirmed and the accuracy of the positional data increased.
        • ELECTRICAL TRANSPORT

        • Intended for horizontal and vertical movement of products and materials.

          An electrically-operated cart makes it possible to transport products quickly and easily, making heavy lifting or pushing a thing of the past.


          Industry often makes use of electrical transport systems, for example, to optimize the production process. However, electrically-operated carts are also very useful in warehouses or in the catering industry. An electrically-operated cart can lift 500 kg and is very easy to operate. There are electrically-operated carts with a scissor table that lift up to 500 kg of materials. These are especially useful if there is a requirement for an adjustable table top for moving materials on and off the cart.

          Electrically-operated carts
          Electrically-operated carts come in various shapes and sizes, but they all have one thing in common: they are intended for the transportation of products and materials. An electrically-operated cart makes it possible to transport products quickly and easily, making heavy lifting or pushing a thing of the past.

          Electrically-operated carts typically reach a speed of 5 km/h, and are equipped with front or middle wheel drive. The speed of these carts can be controlled by means of a potentiometer, and the maintenance-free 52 Amp/h dry-gel batteries provide the power. The ergonomic height of the tiller head, via which the electrical motors are controlled, can be adjusted with the aid of the gas spring.

          Companies often require their own, unique electrically-operated cart to meet their specific needs. A specific solution is then necessary. WEWO develops electrically-operated carts that first meet the demands of the customer.
            • ELECTRIC TUG

            • User-friendly and designed to reduce physical effort

              Logistics processes within an organization often require great physical effort.


              Transporting heavy carts by hand in various industries is no longer acceptable from a Health and Safety point of view. With the help of electric tug, the transportation of these carts can be made easier.

              In many sectors there is a requirement to move heavy roll cage containers, flower carts and other rolling transport. In order to transport these carts in a user-friendly way, without strain, WEWO designed the electric tug. The electric tug can be designed in various classes, up to a maximum towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes. In addition, many different coupling links are possible - from manual operation to full hydraulic control.

              Years of experience in the logistics sector combined with in-house engineering result in the realization of many customer-specific solutions for both the electric tug and the coupling link.

              Many sectors still use transportation methods that are no longer acceptable due to Health and Safety.


              Electrical transport can change that. Many other logistics processes could be further improved if electrical transport were to be applied. Electrically-operated carts can be built exactly how you want them.

              The transportation of materials through workshops, offices etc. can easily be supported by electrical transport. With this kind of transportation, there are no harmful emissions and noise can be reduced to a minimum. As far as size and configuration is concerned, the electrically-operated carts can be built to the customer's requirements, with a maximum load capacity of up to 2.5 tons. Because of the diversity of specifications, the transport may be utilized in various sectors.

            With years of experience in logistics processes, WEWO can assist you with your projects from the very start. Using our own design department, we can develop ideas into complete solutions. We are are particularly specialized in the industrial and automotive industries.

            WEWO’s strength lies in the "out-of-the-box" delivery of solutions. For example, we developed a concept to remove all forklift trucks from the Volvo Cars assembly line. Materials will be supplied by a train, after which the materials are removed and ergonomically presented to the production line with the help of special scissor tables and tilt dollies.

            A tilting system was also developed for Bringme, with which prefabricated cabinet modules can now be placed in one go - meaning the installation costs of 1 day can be reduced to less than 1 hour. By continuing to demand the utmost of the construction, WEWO can realize the best solutions.
