USB uEye XS Family
Less than 1 cubic inch in size, the uEye XS USB 2.0 camera is packed with “smart” features. The ultra compact housing yet provides enough space for a state of the art CMOS sensor complete with auto focus lens as well as a DSP. The DSP offers a broad range of functions, some of which are known from consumer cameras. With the uEye XS, these powerful features are now available in a professional USB camera and can be accessed from your own applications using the free uEye SDK.

USB uEye LE Family
The USB uEye LE is a line of ultra-compact CMOS cameras available in board-level and in a lightweight C/CS-Mount housing. USB uEye LE cameras are ideal for OEM applications where there?s space restriction. Despite the compact size, USB uEye LE cameras are packed with features. The board-level versions are available with M12 and M14 lensholders and have a built-in I2C bus that can be used to control external devices. A built-in trigger and a strobe in addition to two general purpose I/O make the USB uEye LE a good fit for most OEM applications.

The USB uEye ME is a line of CCD and CMOS cameras that feature a right-angle rugged metal housing. The low-profile design allows it to be mounted in tight spaces and the lockable USB 2.0 connector makes it ideal for the most demanding vision applications. The USB uEye ME is available with trigger and strobe signals and the entire family is comparable in features and performance to the USB uEye SE series.

The USB uEye RE is a ruggedized line of USB 2.0 cameras compliant with the IP65/IP67 standards. They?re ideal for applications where the camera is used in dusty and wet environments. The USB uEye RE also features opto-isolated trigger and strobe and is available with CCD and CMOS sensors. The entire line is comparable in features and performance to the USB uEye SE series.

The USB uEye SE is a line of compact industrial USB cameras. It features a cube-shaped small housing and is available with CCD and CMOS sensors. It comes with opto-isolated trigger and strobe and is offered with a variety of robust cables. The USB uEye SE also has built-in trigger and strobe that are accessible via a lockable connector. The USB uEye SE is ideally suited for automation and quality inspection applications.

GigE uEye CP Family
The GigE uEye CP features an extremely compact housing with a size of only 29 x 29 x 41 mm. Yet it offers all the benefits of Gigabit Ethernet technology: high bandwidth of more than 100 MByte/s with cable lengths up to 100 meters.
In addition, this camera can be operated with Power-over-GigE (PoE) or an external power supply. Besides the lockable RJ45 port for GigE, the camera comes with a 6-pin Hirose connector for optional power supply (12-24V), trigger and strobe connections.
The uEye Camera Manager guarantees easy and fast Plug-and-Play-configuration on Windows and Linux systems. The GigE uEye CP comes in several versions with modern CMOS sensors.

GigE uEye HE Family
The GigE uEye HE is a line of GigE cameras that offer a rich set of additional features and functions compared to the other uEye models. GigE uEye HE cameras have a higher pixel depth and can output up to 12 bits/pixel images. In addition, they come with built-in image pre-processing power that can be used to achieve higher throughput. That?s made possible by the integrated 64 MB image memory and two independent processors. Additionally, GigE uEye HE cameras come with programmable I/Os and an RS-232 interface that can be used to control external devices.

With GigE technology, higher bandwidth and cable lengths up to 100 m can be achieved with the GigE uEye HE family.

Frame grabbers convert signals from analog cameras into PC-usable data. The unique software interface of IDS frame grabbers allows the easy and fast integration into your application. Main fields of application are industrial automation and safety engineering.
 
EAGLE
The EAGLE is a high quality colour and monochrome frame grabber combining the features of an industrial product like an external trigger and industrially suitable plug-in connectors at an extraordinary value for money. It is 100% driver compatible with the FALCON(plus) frame grabber.
It offers video input connectors for up to 4 monochrome a/o composite and V/C color cameras. All current video-standards like PAL, NTSC and SECAM are supported.

FALCON and FALCON LP
FALCON and FALCON LP are colour and monochrome frame grabbers with an excellent value for money. For high quality pictures you can connect a SVHS-video-source and 2 CVBS signals. For displaying the pictures are transfered via Burst-DMA transfers into the frame buffer of the VGA-board or for image processing into the PC memory. This transfer happens in video-realtime. The IDS driver supports all operation modes, which allow image processing and displaying in overlay mode. The interpolating scaler (direction X and Y) reduces live pictures down to ICON-size. The interpolation avoids "steps" at the edges. The scaler can be deactivated if it has negative effects for an application.

The uEye Software Package - SDK, Interfaces, Tools and Drivers
Programming: SDK and Interfaces
With every uEye camera, you receive a comprehensive software package with drivers for Windows and Linux. Interfaces for various image processing packages, standard drivers such as DirectShow (WDM), a GenICamTM interface as well as our Software Development Kit (SDK) allow individual integration within a very short time.
Programming: Languages and Libraries
To make integration as easy as possible and allow use of your familiar development environment, we support the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Microsoft .NET and Visual Basic. We also provide 3rd party software drivers for ActivVision Tools, Common Vision Blox, HALCON, LabView, and NeuroCheck.
Firmware Upload Philosophie
The modular uEye concept can also be found in our software: All necessary drivers are only loaded into the camera after it has been connected. With regularly released updates the functionality can thus be enhanced even for already installed cameras.
