Q-Eye CMOS Image Sensor-Processor
The Q-Eye ISP is a QCIF resolution CMOS high-speed image sensor-processor able to sense and process on-the-fly images at extreme frame rates. Q-Eye ISP delivers up to 8,000 grey-level and 40,000 binary images per second at full resolution of 144 x 144 pixels. It provides high parallelism between image sensing, pre-processing and readout. It also performs FPN correction. Q-Eye ISP supports partial scanning allowing frame rates over 65,000fps at 144 x 10 pixels.

Camera manufacturers can take advantage of the pre-processing capability of Q-Eye ISP to develop ultra-compact cameras releasing the host PC or frame grabber from realizing computationally intensive image processing operations while reducing the output data.

Cameras based on Q-Eye ISP can be connected to high-level algorithms (OCR, tracking, code reading…) available in commercial image-processing software to develop complete vision solutions.
