Linear Motors
LinMot linear motors are brushless synchronous motors,
with integrated position measurement, overload protection, and an electronic
nameplate.
The linear motion is generated directly by electromagnetic forces, without
the wear associated with mechanical elements.
All motor components are cast in a solid steel tube and are thus optimally
protected from damage and contamination (IP67).
The motors are available in
two versions, with direct cable exit or a rotating angle plug.
• Direct Linear Drive
• Integrated Position Measurement
• Freely positionable along the entire stroke
• Highly dynamic, with accelerations up to 400m/s2
• Long service life: no gearboxes or seals
• Clean room certificate / IP67 protection class

Cable or rotatable connector IP67
To address the cable routing concerns of machine designers, LinMot
provides motors with either space saving cable and connector (pigtail)
assemblies or rotatable connectors mounted right on the motor. LinMot
motors adapt to your design requirements.
|
 |
Motor forces up to 1024 N (230.1 lbs)
The standard motors are available in 15 different motor configurations
with peak forces of from 33 to 1024 N (7-230.1 lbs). A total of over 300
standard motor specifications with strokes lengths of up to 1500 mm (5
feet) are available.
In addition, the module design of LinMot® motors allows custom designs
even in moderate quantities.

 |
Stainless Steel Motor IP69K
LinMot introduces a complete new Linear Motor family P01-48x240F-SSC in
Stainless Steel 1.4404/316 with the outstanding protection rating IP69K
designed for applications in food, pharmaceutical and packaging
machines.
The new motor has a diameter of 60mm and an over all length of 350mm. It
will be available with or without integrated water cooling with peak
forces up to 500N.

Linear Modules
LinMot linear guides are compact guide units with
integrated ball bearings or sleeve bearings for use with LinMot linear
motors.
They are used to mount the moving load, to absorb external forces, and as an
antirotation guide. They provide high precision guidance and allow dynamic,
precise positioning of the load.
• Allow high speeds and accelerations
• Dynamic and precise load positioning
• Mounting plate with central mounting holes
• Simple installation and compact form factor
• Mechanically interchangeable with pneumatic H-guides
• Available with ball bearings or sintered sleeve bearings

|
Bridge Guides B01
Series B01 bridge guides are compact guide units with integrated ball
bearings or plain bushings, for operating LinMot P01 linear motors with
high-clearance sliders. The rear end plate increases the mechanical
stiffness of the bridge guide.
Bridge Guides are used as load bearings, to resist external forces and
rotational and bending moments, and as an anti-rotation device. They provide
high-precision guidance and allow dynamic and precise positioning of the
load.
The load is mounted directly to the front plate of the linear guide.
Mechanical dimensions and mounting options are compatible with pneumatic
linear guides.
The modular design allows simple addition of accessories, such as a
mechanical brake or magnetic spring, for load balancing in vertical
applications.

Linear Guides H01
Series H01 Linear Guides are compact guide units with integrated ball
bearings or plain bushings, for operating LinMot P01 linear motors with
standard or heavy duty sliders.
H01 Linear Guides are used as load bearings, to resist external forces and
rotational and bending moments, and as an anti-rotation device.

Servo Controllers
The wide range of controller products allows rapid
implementation of simple applications with two end positions, up to complex,
high-precision multi-axis applications with synchronization to a main
electronic shaft.
Connection to an overarching control system can be made via analog, digital,
or serial interfaces, field busses, or ETHERNET. The wide variety of field
bus interfaces and protocols ensure simple integration with a master PLC,
industrial PC, or proprietary controller.
• Single and multi-axis controllers with integrated power stage
• Precise control of position, speed, acceleration, and force
• Execution of internally stored motion profiles or sequences
• Electronic cam disc for synchronization with a main drive
• Digital trigger inputs and analog target value inputs
• Serial communications, field buses, and industrial ETHERNET

E100/E1001 series
The Series E100 servo controller and powerful Series E1001 are compact, one,
two or four-axis position controllers with 16-bit position resolution and
integrated power elements.
The controllers are suitable for simple and standard positioning tasks in
the low to medium force range.
|
 |
E1100 series
The controllers are suited for simple, standard and High-End positioning
tasks in the range of small up to high forces of the LinMot Linear Motors.
The flexible Controllers can also control any 1/2/3 phase linear or rotating
motor. Specially the small brushless DC-Motors can be driven by the E1100
controllers and are fully integrated in the different available field bus
systems.
All the E1100 Systems can be upgraded with end reference switches, external
position sensors and pneumatic brakes.
The E1100 controllers possess analog and digital inputs and outputs, serial
interfaces, field bus and ETHERNET connections. Therefore the controllers
can be integrated in every PLC or PC environment.
The flexibility of the E1100 Series makes them to universal Controllers for
single and multiple axes application based on different Linear Motors,
rotating motors and other actuators.
|
 |
E1200 series
Series E1200 servo controllers are modular axis controllers, with 32-bit
position resolution and an integrated power stage, for linear motors and
rotary drives.
The controllers are suitable for simplest, standard, and high-end
positioning tasks, across the entire force range of the LinMot product
range.
The E1100 Servo Controller series are modular controllers for linear and
rotating motors with a 32-Bit positioning resolution.

Magnetic Spring
MagSprings provide a constant force throughout their
entire range of motion. They are totally passive devices requiring no
electricity or pneumatic power. When used with LinMot linear motors in
vertical applications, MagSprings are sized to raise vertical loads to a
safe position upon power shutdown. Rather than using a large motor to raise
the payload, now only a small motor is required to lower the payload during
normal operations.
• Constant Force
• Totally Passive
• Forces to 60 N.
• Strokes to 275 mm.
NTI AG has over 20 standard MagSprings.

Motor Sizing Software
LinMot Designer provides the user with a high-end layout
tool for linear motions.
Applications can be analyzed in seconds, and optimized according to various
criteria.
The integrated database then selects the appropriate LinMot drive
components, without the need for extensive manual calculations.
|
 |
Configuration Software
Two different versions of the operating software are
available to match the intended users and their requirements.
The simple version allows the beginner to implement point-to-point motions
very quickly.
Experienced users can also configure complex drive tasks very easily using
the standard version.
