Compact, eye-catching, unique for limited space issue !
The compact and structureoptimized gear case of the helical bevel gears
distinguish themselves by being
machined on all sides and are therefore, ready for a variety of mounting options
and applications. The unique motorposition provides an almost flat and easy to
mount on ”machine-interface”.
In the basic executions the gear boxes are designed as 2 stage gears up to the
size K. 75 (1.250Nm). The bigger gear boxes, beginning with the K. 77 (1.500Nm)
are designed as 3 stage gears.

| Angle parallel shaft geared motors |
Ruggedness for hard industry application!
These angle-parallel-shaft gears are machined on all sides and the primary gear
unit with motor can be turned through 90°. As a result the best motor position
for the application can be found. This feature also allows the housing to be
ultra-flat.
In addition, there are models with support noses for shaft-mounted applications
and flanges for agitators, etc.

| System adapter |
The Watt system adapter enables all motors commonly found
on the market to be built on the complete MAS gear system.
The drive motors are added on by using the adapter, without having to open the
gears. The motors do not need to be oil-tight.
The system adapter enables the following to be added:
- Servo motors, with or without key
- Nema motors (standard measurement Type C flange
fixture)
- IEC motors (model type B5 according to DIN 42677)

| Input shaft |
Gear systems with input unit (-WN) allow the running of
WATT MAS gear unit via the extension of drive unit elements such as coupling,
belts or chains.
This gear system with input shafts is an economical solution if the input motor
cannot be assembled directly next to the gear unit. |

| EUSAS-System motors |
A Motor for 100Hz
Characteristic and Any Voltage Worldwide !
WATT EUSAS motors are top quality three-phase AC industrial models from Watt
Drive’s customer-oriented modular WATT MAS 2000 motor system.
EUSAS stands for EUROPA - USA - ASIEN and means that the wide voltage range and
simple voltage selector in the terminal box enable the motor to be operated with
virtually any supply voltage and frequency worldwide.
Connection types:
All world voltages are possible in the range from x190-210V (DD), 330-365V (YY),
380-420V (D) and 660-690V (Y) for 50 and 60Hz.
The board with nine terminals enables star (Y), delta (D), double star (YY) and
double delta (DD) connection of the Watt Drive motor. |

| Integral motors |
The EUSAS integral motor is part of the Watt motor system.
All features and benefits have been implemented and further developed. The motor
is robust, in keeping with the high demands made by the industry and in the
short term is capable of excessive loads.
The motors are equipped with a reinforced suspension and are directly built into
the gear units, resulting in a very short, compact design.
The standard is equipped with a brake end plate as NDE-side (non driven end
side). By using the standardized motor modules (for more information see “Motor
systems”), customer-specific solutions can be implemented quickly and
economically.

The Watt asynchronous servo motor is an evolutionary
development based on the proven Watt-EUSAS-Motor. The new motor is now optimized
for industrial drive tasks, requiring closed loop speed control in frequency
inverters and having special demands:
- high dynamic during acceleration and deceleration as well on
the compensation of speed deviations
- high speed accuracy
- high mechanical and electrical robustness of the whole drive
system
- large speed range
- high accuracy of running (also at low speed)

| Drive Electronics |
The frequency
inverter programs ECO-line, OPTI-line and PROFI-line consistently follow the
same principle in the range of 0.2 to 90 kW as the Watt Drive modular drive
systems.
These frequency inverters distinguish themselves through their excellent control
features, compact size, ease of use and very good communication skills.
The differences in the three programs are mainly found in the control features
and the related dynamics, starting torque and scope of application.
The L types are controlled by V/f characteristics and the V types are
vector-controlled frequency inverters, while the P series is outstanding in its
decentralized intelligence, for example for positioning.
With this program extension, Watt Drive is able to offer a complete range of
modular drive control units and the most cost-effective drive solution for any
requirement, from simple control and drive tasks to the control of top dynamic
processes and positioning. |

Integrated flexibility at a low price.
The frequency inverter L2500 from the ECO-line program is particularly suitable
for applications whereby cost-effectiveness plays a central role. However, it
also offers many other opportunities, which are outstanding in this category,
for example, motor slip compensation, parametric U/f characteristics, etc.
The L2500 unites innovative technology, a high level of performance and
functionality with a compact design and a wide scope of application. The
simplest start up of operations, of use and parameterization distinguish this
frequency inverter.

| Inverter OPTI-line V2500 |
The multi-talent for high torque.
The V2500 power packet from the Opti-line range with the new sensorless vector
control (SVC) provides a superior torque for demanding applications consistently
over the whole performance range. This SVC is supported by a static/dynamic
motor autotuning in order to adapt control to any circumstances occuring during
operations of the specific application in an optimal manner. The frequent spread
of standard factory models of machine parameters is thus wholly compensated.
This internal control procedure means that especially in the lower torque range
a previously unattainable torque curve is possible.With the optional feedback
card, the V2500 is perfect for complex closed loop control tasks.

The unique, intelligent all-rounder.
The frequency inverter P6000 enhances the functionality of the frequency
inverter range. With its modular design, flexible programmability and integrated

| Soft starter RVS |
Our soft starer from the production series RVS-AX (analogue) as well as the RVS-DN
(digital) provide for soft, smooth machine acceleration. With this type of
start-up, the AC motors being driven and the coupled mechanical machine
components are not exposed to any shock impact loads, therefore wear and tear of
mechanical elements is avoided.
The starting current is considerably reduced, in comparison to a DOL-starting.
Thus all components (AC motor, mechanical machine elements) are preserved and
are able to be dimensioned more cost effectively.

| Control and display devices |
To aid control of inverter systems, a number of top quality, high performance
and universally operated products are available in the form of a range of
operator panels. They all enjoy extreme ease of use and high functionality,
while the concept on which they are based is attractive and easily adaptable.
There are 4 different operator panels, which differ in use, memory size and
display. All four are run using the same program software for pre-settings and a
pre-configured interface to the frequency inverters in the Profi-line series.
Communication can run via the RS232 or via CANopen - both interfaces are
standard on board components of the P6000 frequency inverter. |

The program software “OPTI Tool” and PROFI Tool” allow programming of the
inverter using a PC.
The “OPTI Tool” is for programming the frequency inverter series ECO and OPTI
line.
The frequency inverter series PROFI line P6000 is parameterized and programmed
with “PROFI TOOL”.

Requirements have been set up to regulate the provision or use of devices and

Stage, theatre drives
Watt Drive angle parallel shaft geared motor units for the Hangzhou opera house.
For this project Watt angle parallel shaft gears were used as the gear unit,
which were realised in accordance with the specific requirements of the
customer. The particularly high demands in quality of stage technology (noise,
operational safety, …) were the deciding factors that the extensive Watt Drive
product portfolio were able to fulfil completely.

Special helical worm geared motor
Special helical worm geared motor with safety slipping clutch and Watt EUSAS
system motor for the snow production plant "Gemini Frau Holle S10" at our
customer “Fa. HDP Hochdruckprodukte" based in Mürzzuschlag-Hönigsberg.
The turning drive of this plant consists of a helical worm geared motor out of
the MAS 2000 program combined with a single stage gear unit HF 50E to realize
the required high ratio.
For the blower drive a non- ventilated Watt EUSAS System motor is used.

Stainless steel motors
WATT Drive offers a complete range of stainless steel motors.
To even improve the quality of cleanliness powers up to 0,75 kW are designed in
a totally enclosed, non ventilated (TENV) design, respectively - in European
definitions - IC410 and IP66.
The absence of cooling fins favours easy cleaning for no particles can remain in
hidden areas. To guarantee that the motor can be identified even after heavy
cleaning the nameplate-information is engraved directly to the stator housing.
