 Offer Profile
Over more than 30 years precision gears of Harmonic Drive AG are able to satisfy highest requirements of nearly all mechanical engineering industries. Harmonic Drive products are always first class for all applications where zero backlash, compact dimensions, low weight and long life are required.
 Product Abstract
Component Sets
The compact design of the backlash-free Harmonic Drive component sets allows a space-saving integration directly into machines. The component sets are available in various sizes and in different variants.
HFUC Series
Ratio: 30 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
0.9 to 3550 Nm

The proven HFUC component sets achieve excellent accuracy and high efficiency.

CSG Series
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
23 to 3263 Nm

The CSG component sets feature a further increase in torque capacity and operating life. Optimisation of the Flexspline and Circular Spline teeth combined with a new Wave Generator bearing form the basis for this improvement.

CSD Series
Hollow-shaft: 11 to 50 mm
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
3.7 to 823 Nm

Because of their extremely short axial length the CSD component sets are ideally suited for applications demanding an especially flat design.

HFUS Series
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
5.4 to 745 Nm

The HFUS component sets feature a Flexspline diaphragm, which opens outwards, rather than inwards. This design allows the integration of a large central hollow-shaft through the gear.

Units
Harmonic Drive Units consist of a gear component set, equipped with a high capacity output bearing, which are intended for integration into a machine.
CPU-M Series
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
5.4 to 745 Nm

The CPU-M Series Units are designed for direct mounting on any servo motor. Additionally counter bored through-holes in the outer ring of the output bearing allow even large motors to be mounted using only one adaptor flange.

CPU-H Series
Hollow-shaft: 14 to 70 mm
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
5.4 to 745 Nm

The CPU-H Series Units are designed with a large, central hollow shaft. These units are completely sealed and are delivered ready for immediate installation.

CPU-S Series
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
5.4 to 745 Nm

The CPU-S Units are driven via a solid shaft. These units are completely sealed and are delivered ready for immediate installation.

SHG-2UH Series
Hollow-shaft: 80 mm
Ratio: 80 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
969 to 1236 Nm

The SHG-2UH Unit complements the CPU-H product programme for applications with high loads. It is distinguished by its 80 mm hollow shaft and the increased torque capacity by 40% compared with standard Harmonic Drive gears.

HFUC-2UH Series
Ratio: 30 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
4 to 2700 Nm

HFUC-2UH Units have been designed for easy assembly to all common servo motors. The improved performance characteristics of the IH-type gearing make them well suited for highly dynamic applications.

CSG-2UH Series
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
7 to 1236 Nm

As a result of the optimisation of the Flexspline and Circular Spline teeth combined with a new Wave Generator bearing CSG-2UH Units provide a significant increase in torque capacity and rated operating life.

HFUS-2SH Series
Hollow-shaft: 14 to 70 mm
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
5.4 to 745 Nm

HFUS-2SH Units have a reduced parts count (Simplicity Unit). They consist of a component set and a high capacity and high stiffness output bearing. HFUS-2SH Units feature a hollow shaft.

HFUS-2SO Series
Ratio: 50 to 160
Nominal Output Torque:
5.4 to 745 Nm

HFUS-2SO Units have a reduced parts count and are particularly well-suited to highly integrated designs where the housing is not required (Simplicity Unit).

Gearboxes and Planetary Gears

Gearboxes - HDUC Serie
Ratio: 50 to 110
Nominal Output Torque:
0.2 to 7.8 Nm

The key element of Harmonic Drive gearboxes is a component set within a housing with a flange or shaft as output assembly.

Planetary Gears- HPG Series
Ratio: 5 to 45
Nominal Output Torque:
2.5 to 850 Nm

The Harmonic Planetary Gears comprise three variants with different accuracy classes in order to fulfill the demands of applications requiring ratios smaller than 50:1

Servo Motors, Servo Actuators and Controllers
Harmonic Drive servo motors, servo actuators and controllers a combination of precision gearboxes with specially developed AC or DC servo motors. Used in applications with demanding requirements they provide precision motion control, high torque capacity in a very compact package.
CHA
Hollow-shaft: 18 to 45 mm
Ratio: 50 to 160
Max Output Torque: 56 to 1840 Nm
Max Speed: 19 to 120 rpm

The CHA and FHA-C Series hollow-shaft actuator combines a maintenance-free motor and back-free Harmonic-Drive gear in a very compact design. The unique feature of this series is the central hollow-shaft, which enables cables, pipes, shafts, spindles or laser beams to be passed through the actuator. The new CHA Series is the increased-performance advancement of the FHA-C Series.

FHA-C Series
Hollow-shaft: 18 to 45 mm
Ratio: 50 to 160
