| Asynchronous machines |
| SSB asynchronous machines for frequency converter

| Synchronous machines |
SSB synchronous machines permit operation both in
constant-frequency systems and on static frequency converters. The speed of
these motors can be varied by changing the feed frequency with control ranges
greater than 1:100.
SSB synchronous machines possess very high synchronous torque levels and
substantial overload capability.

| Servo drives |
| The brushless SSB servo and hollow-shaft servo drive
systems are designed as standard for operation with servo amplifiers with
threephase power output. This permits the implementation of highly dynamic speed
and torque control circuits, as well as position and speed control over a wide
adjustment range.

SSB positioning drives are durable threephase motors with
two isolated windings, integrated electromechanical holding brake, external

- 1-3 step configuration, with series-connected gear 3-4 step, as double gear 4-5
step
- Base and flange-mounting designs

- Shafts, wheels and bearings are made of high-grade steels
- The gear wheels are case-hardened >60 HRC, helical geared with ground tooth
flanks
- Completely closed gears, protection rating IP 55
- With the exception of types with single-step series connected gear and
single-step gears, the output and motor shafts are coaxially positioned
