 Offer Profile
The TANDLER group contains all the manufacturing processes, from design through to delivery of their completed drive units, including a 24 hour emergency service. Furthermore, the heat treatment plant operates a sub contract service.
Latest innovations by TANDLER include the development of a new heat treatment procedure called Tan-Ox ® and the design and introduction of the ServoFoxx ® range of gearboxes specifically designed for use with servo motors.
 Product Abstract
Gearboxes and Gears - Unlimited Variety of Combinations
Wherever two axes have to rotate with as specific relationship between speed and position, a gearbox will be used. We would like to highlight the following types
Spiral Bevel Gearboxes
for branch-off connections
8 gearbox sizes.
ratios i = n1:n2 = 1:2 up to 6:1
torques M = 18 Nm up to 8000 Nm

TANDLER spiral bevel gearboxes are suitable for use in all cases where direction changes or branch-off connections are required in rotary transmission engineering. They can be mounted in any position or arrangement as the gearbox is of rectangular design, with all faces machined. The input axis can be located on the right or left, as required. Ratios up to 6:1 speed reducing and up to 1:2 speed increasing are available up to 8000 Nm. 8 gearbox sizes provide output torque capacities and each size can be provided in seven different variants.

Spiral bevel gearboxes are applied where quiet changes of direction of high speed and high torque rotary transmission are required. The gearboxes are used in a wide variety of industrial applications, particularly, printing, packaging, mechanical handling, textile and chemical industries for all direction changes of rotary motion control and regulating operations where low mechanical play is needed.

PowerMaster Gearboxes
for applications requiring high torques
3 gearbox sizes.
ratios i = n1:n2 = 1:1 up to 3:1
torques M max. 1200 Nm

Double torque for your safety!

Compared to our well-known spiral bevel gearboxes the PowerMaster gearboxes of the same size can transmit up to double the torque. Also, compared to the competitors the PowerMaster gearboxes are very convincing.

Typical Applications
PowerMasters are applied where high torque has to be transmitted at usual speed and on little space. Further typical applications include situations, in which the max. torque mentioned in our spiral bevel catalogues is often exceeded - even if only for short periods of time - or if these torques arise as impacts, i. e. the service conditions are very rough.

Speed Modulation Gearboxes
coaxial and right-angle for all applications where process synchronization is required.
up to 12 gearbox sizes
ratios i = n1:n2 = 1:3.75 up to 5:1
torques M = 20 Nm up to 2500 Nm

TANDLER speed modulation gearboxes are the perfect solution for any application requiring shaft phasing, precise registration or narrow range speed control. Forwards or backwards speed modulation is generated when the worm shaft d3 which engages the outer sun wheel, is rotated.

ServoFoxx
planetary bevel and flange gearbox combinations up to 9 gearbox sizes
ratios i = n1:n2 = 3:1up to 1000:1
torques M = 20 Nm up to 2000 Nm

By combining planetary and Spiral Bevel Gearboxes the ServoFoxx range provides a flexible system offering any combination of ratio, input and output options you require. Not only coaxial or right angle but with hollow shafts, one or more auxiliary shafts, switching or reversing gearboxes or even with a third shaft for speed modulation.

Thanks to the incorporation of interchangeable flange plates and a two part coupling, the gearbox will fit all motors.

ServoStar
2-part plug-in high performance coupling for all applications as extension of our ServoFoxx gearbox programs
torques M=10 Nm up to 225 Nm

ServoStar standard couplings have been developed to optimize the torques transmitted through our ServoFoxx gearbox range.

As part of our program of continual development, this has been a logical step in product improvement.

Bevel Gears
where precise positioning is required...
There are gears in different sizes and miscellaneous designs. Durability, load capacity and noise levels from a gear wheel set, i.e. the quality required, influence the gear design and the production processes.

Besides offering normal quality, we are specialists in producing gears to ever closer tolerances and in optimizing processes and quality controls through our ongoing research and development activities.

Another advantage is our expertise in heat treatment. Härterei Tandler , our heat treatment plant, is situated right beside our gear and gearbox factory and is certified to ISO9001:2000.

All gears are produced to customers specifications - there are no goods in stock!

All gear parts can be either manufactured completely (KF) or partially (LA).
