| Miniature Linear Actuators |
| These 0.1 um resolution miniature linear actuators are
designed to replace manual micrometer heads on linear slides, though they have
many other uses. Check the specifications to determine which miniature linear
actuator is right for your application. |
|
| Linear Translation Stages |
Zaber's TSB Series of translation stages are ball bearing
linear stages with 28mm or 60mm of travel. They are compatible with our T-LA
series miniature linear actuators and our NA11 stepper linear actuators and can
be used in x-y or x-y-z stage configurations using our angle brackets.
Vacuum compatible translation stages (TSBxx-xV) use vacuum compatible greases
and epoxies and non-anodized components. These translation stages have been used
successfully in vacuum applications down to 10-6 Torr. |
|
| Motorized Linear Slides |
T-LSR linear slides are are high performance, heavy-duty
motorized linear slides.
Our fastest and strongest linear slides, they handle heavy loads and can be
mounted in x-y-z configuration without any additional hardware. Integrated
controllers allow T-LSR linear slides to be daisy chained with any T-series
products and controlled from a single serial or USB port. A knob at the end of
the linear slide permits smooth manual control. During a manual move the linear
slide constantly transmits its position so the controlling computer can track
it. |

| Motorized Linear Stages |
The T-LS linear stage is a 0.1 um resolution motorized
linear stage available in 13mm, 28mm and 80mm travel versions, with either
metric or imperial mounting holes. Linear stages can be controlled manually or
through an RS232 or USB port.
Linear stages can be used in x-y or x-y-z configuration with our AB90 angle
brackets
An x-y configuration makes an excellent microscope stage, especially when
combined with our T-JOY3 Joystick Controller allowing manual control of both x
and y axes from a single interface as well as allowing microscope stage
positions to be saved and recalled at the touch of a button. T-LS stages are
also commonly used in micromanipulator applications. |
|
| Motorized Dovetail Slides |
These 0.16 um resolution dovetail slides with integrated
stepper motors and controllers are available in standard versions with 105mm or
260mm travel versions. Custom dovetail slides are also available in versions up
to 915mm travel. If interested please contact us for more information.
For XY and XYZ configurations, we recommend T-LSR Motorized Linear Slides. T-LSR
slides are designed for higher load, heavier duty, and can be mounted in XY or
XYZ configuration without additional hardware. |
|
| Electric Linear Actuators |
| These electric linear actuators, based on standard NEMA
stepper motors, offer finer resolution, higher thrust, higher speed, and longer
lifetime compared to our T-LA series of linear actuators. Each electric linear
actuator includes 30cm of cable wired to a mini-din 8 connector for use with our
T-CD series stepper motor controller (shown above driving an NA11B-30 actuator)
which must be purchased separately. Linear actuators have a built in magnetic
home sensor. In addition to the listed linear actuators, we have larger NEMA
size 17 and 23 actuators available in the same ranges of travel. Size 23 offers
up to 200 lb force. Please contact us for more details if you are interested in
higher thrust. |

 |
| Stepper Motors with Built-in Controllers |
| These size 17 NEMA stepper motors have built in
controllers and are available with an optional manual control knob. |
|
| Stepper Motors |
| These motors are available in standard NEMA sizes (8, 11,
17, 23, etc) and include 30 cm of cabled wired to a mini-din 8 connector for use
with our T-CD series stepper motor controller which must be purchased
separately. A detachable Hall effect switch and small magnet are included for
applications that require a home position sensor. |
|
| Motorized Rotary Stages |
| Zaber's Series of precision motorized rotary stages are
stepper motor driven, worm gear rotary stages capable of a full 360° rotation.
Each rotary stage interfaces with our T-CD Series Stepper Motor Controller
offering high resolution daisy-chainable operation. |

|
| Motorized Mirror Mounts |
| The T-MM2 Series are motorized two axis mirror mounts.
They can be controlled manually or by using the RS-232 serial interface. See the
specifications at left for more details. |
|
| Motorized Goniometers |
| What is a goniometer? A goniometer stage (sometimes called
a goniometer table) is a tilting stage that rotates about a virtual axis fixed
in space above the stage surface. Zaber's LMG Series motorized goniometers are
stepper motor driven positioning goniometers designed to interface with our T-CD
series Stepper Motor Controller offering high resolution daisy-chainable
operation. The LMG60 tilting goniometer stages pictured above are crossed roller
bearing goniometers with a virtual axis of rotation 60mm above the goniometer
stage surface respectively. The goniometer stage is 20mm high. |

 |
| Stepper Motor Controller |
| Zaber's T-CD stepper motor controller is a microstep
driver offering microstepping down to 128 microsteps per step. With a typical
stepper motor having 200 steps per revolution, the T-CD stepper motor controller
allows microstepping down to to 25600 microsteps per revolution. The T-CD
stepper controller can be used to control any 2 phase stepper motor with
continuous current draw up to 2.5A per phase. |
|
| Zaber Device Controller |
| The T-CON3 provides an alternative to controlling our
products through a PC serial port. It has an intuitive user interface for
controlling up to 3 T-Series positioning products which can be daisy-chained
directly to it creating a stand alone manual positioning system with 3 line
position display (one line for each device). Perfect for remote positioning
applications (such as vacuum applications) where you don't need automated
computer control, but don't have access to turn micrometer heads manually. The
actuator pictured is not included. |
|
| Programmable Joystick |
The T-JOY3 is a programmable joystick that can control
three independent axes of motion. The joystick can be daisy-chained to any
T-Series motion control products, allowing for a very flexible setup. All 5
buttons of the joystick are programmable to store a location, recall a location,
or a host of other functions.
The joystick can run with or without a computer attached. In stand-alone mode
the joystick is a compact controller that fits easily on the lab bench. Its
functionality can be expanded simply by adding a computer or laptop running
Labview, Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel, or your own program. The T-JOY3
programmable joystick is the ideal controller for microscope, x-y, or x-y-z
stage applications. |
