The Vacon NXS is a compact AC drive in the power range of 0.75 - 560 kW and
supply voltages of 208-690 V for heavy use in machines, buildings and all
branches of industry. The robust design incorporates effective protection
against supply network disturbances. Trip-free operation is also guaranteed
due to sophisticated motor control principles and motor/drive protection
features, component selection and effective cooling.

Vacon 500X

Vacon's new X series is a rugged family of variable speed AC drives, built
and designed for harsh industrial environments.
From simple applications to those requiring advanced communications, Vacon
500X offers an increasing level of performance and features for the
industrial environment. Capabilities ranging from simple press-and-run
keypad operation to a real-time clock, advanced PLC functions or a USB
interface are available. The powers up to 75 kW are available in IP66 for
the ultimate environmental protection.

Vacon X series
The Vacon family of variable speed AC drives was
complemented by a new product line - Vacon X series - after Vacon acquired
the AC drives business of US-based TB Wood’s in January 2008. First
introduced in 2005, the products in the Vacon X series are sold under their
original SE2, X4 and X5 names in North America and under new Vacon branding
of Vacon 5X, 50X and 500X respectivly. The Vacon X series of AC drives are
easy to use and offer basic features for general applications. These drives
are designed for fast and easy commissioning.

Vacon SE2 models are protected by NEMA 12/IP55 enclosures
providing complete touch protection plus front line defense against dust,

The compact Vacon X4 AC drive combines power and the best

The Vacon X5 is a member of a range of multipurpose
drives that is designed for continuous heavy use with more features and high
flexibility in the power range of 1 to 200 HP (4 - 132 kW). The Vacon X5
offers the same high IP66 protection as the Vacon X4 but adds multiple
interface options and other advanced functions for the more demanding
applications.

Vacon 100 HVAC - the smarter way to reduce CO2 emissions
Power Range 1.1-30 kW
The Vacon 100 HVAC is designed to meet and exceed even the stringent
requirements of the building automation industry. Easy installation, effi
cient and trouble-free operation, and fast return on investment are
guaranteed. No HVAC task is too complex for the Vacon 100 HVAC. Installing
and commissioning the Vacon 100 HVAC can be done by just about anyone. The
Vacon 100 HVAC is available in the power range of 0.55 to 160 kW, (0.75 to
200 HP) and supply voltages of 230 V, 400 V and 480 V.

step-down and step-up transformer solutions.

Solutions for MV motors
Step-down step-up
Vacon has introduced a perfect
solution for controlling medium voltage AC drives with low voltage frequency
converters and standard transformers.
Frequency converters designed for medium voltage motors (3.6, 6 or 10 kV)
are typically expensive and need a lot of space for assembly. In addition,
there are few medium voltage drives available for lower power ratings such
as 250 or 800 kW. Still, motors with those power ratings are fairly common
in water and wastewater plants; also district heating plants use these for
the main feeder pumps.
