  • In the 1980’s LINAK’s product range consisted mostly of electro mechanical actuators limited to five basic models. Since then the product range has expanded to include lifting columns, control boxes, controls and various kinds of accessories.

  • Linear actuators and built-in actuators

  • LINAK linear actuators provide movement solutions for a variety of industries. Through these solutions the goal is to improve the quality of people’s life both at home and at work.

    An actuator can lift, tilt, push or pull hard-to-reach or heavy objects with a lifting capacity from 200 up to 12,000 Newton. It is an energy efficient, non-toxic device with a long lifetime and little or no maintenance. A linear actuator can be integrated in sophisticated control systems that provide precise position feedback and motion control. With no pumps or hoses it takes up considerably less space than a hydraulic system which makes installation easy.

    Furthermore, actuators provide safe, clean and quiet movement. Their flexibility and adaptability also ensure well-functioning solutions that fit a wide range of products and applications.

    A classic LINAK actuator system consists of one or more electric actuators along with a control box and a control device. LINAK actuator solutions are produced for five business areas: DESKLINE®, HOMELINE®, MEDLINE® & CARELINE®, TECHLINE® and NETLINE™.

    The five business areas

    DESKLINE provides actuator solutions for a variety of height adjustable furniture such as office desks, kitchens, workstations, etc. A height adjustable solution from LINAK ensures greater adaptability towards the users thus, increasing their level of comfort and improving their working conditions or home life.

    HOMELINE provides electrical adjustment of both box spring beds and slatted beds using modular actuator systems. The actuators provide a smooth and silent adjustment, which will improve the level of comfort and ergonomic qualities of the bed. In cooperation with customers, HOMELINE focuses on turning new ideas into elegant solutions that will differentiate and improve the customers’ beds.

    The main focus of MEDLINE & CARELINE is to provide actuator solutions for hospital and healthcare equipment that increases comfort for patients, caregivers and persons with disabilities. These solutions will provide safe and reliable movement and lifting capacity in equipment such as hospital beds, patient lifts, dental chairs and wheelchairs.

    TECHLINE heavy duty actuators provide precise and reliable movement in industrial work applications such as marine applications, construction and machinery, farming solutions and solar tracking systems. These actuators are designed to withstand extreme conditions while providing very accurate motion.

    NETLINE switchgear automation can help turn a manual electricity distribution network into a modern smart grid and improve efficiency for electrical networks. Furthermore, the iSwitch system functions as a retrofit solution which provides easy installation.

  • Electric Dual Actuators TWINDRIVE™

  • Electric dual actuators are electromechanical units that convert low DC voltage from a control box into movement. TWINDRIVE-systems consist of electric dual actuators with integrated control boxes and controls for adjustment of the applications.

    The a electric dual actuator system TWINDRIVE® supplies the growing demand for motorised systems in adjustable electric beds. The electric dual actuator systems from LINAK are specially designed for applications like: TWINDRIVE is characterised by a very small built-in dimension, which makes it unique in this market.   • Switchgear Automation

  • LINAK’s iSwitch system is a modern purpose built solution. The iSwitch is designed to control and monitor a wide variety of Medium Voltage Distribution Switchgear. The iSwitch family of products provides a modern approach to Switchgear Automation in the form of a non intrusive solution.

    A unique mounting method of iSwitch adds significant value to LINAK’s proposition to the Switchgear Automation industry. LINAK’s switchgear automation solution is a true “plug & play” technology.

    The iSwitch system consists of 3 main modules:
    • the iMotor provides the movement and operation of the Switchgear
    • the iCom provides intelligent Remote Control and Local communication
    • the battery provides standby power for remote operation in the event of a local power failure

    • The iMotor™ is specially designed for motorisation of a switchgear. When using an iMotor in combination with LINAK iCom™ and iSwitch Battery a complete non-intrusive switchgear automation kit is available.

    • The iMotor Compact™ is special designed for switchgear where there is limited space for adaptation. When using an iMotor Compact in combination with LINAK iCom™ and iSwitch Battery a complete non-intrusive switchgear automation kit is available.

    • iCom is an intelligent remote terminal unit and power supply designed for controlling a medium voltage switch gear. When using an iCom in combination with LINAK iMotors™ and iSwitch Battery a complete nonintrusive switchgear automation kit is available.
    • iSwitch SAI

    • The SAI™ has been specially designed for switchgear motorisation. When using a SAI™ in combination with LINAK iMotor™ it makes it possible to interface to a 3rd party control.
    • NETLINE Accessories

    • The iSwitch™ accessories are specially designed to complement a wide variety of switchgear applications. When using needed accessories together with the iSwitch system a complete nonintrusive switchgear automation kit is available.
  • Controls / Handsets

  • LINAK control units are available in both basic and advanced versions with memory functions and displays for readout of height indication and other data. Additionally, LINAK can provide wireless controls for specific applications.

    • The HB10 handset is designed for use with TWINDRIVE® systems for leisure beds and other comfort furniture applications.
      The HB10 handset combines ergonomic design and functionality into a user - friendly handset.
    • HB10RF

    • The HB10RF handset is designed for use with TWINDRIVE® radio frequency based (RF) systems for leisure beds. The HB10RF handset combines ergonomic design and functionality into a userfriendly handset with big intuitive buttons and without any annoying cable.
    • HB20

    • The HB20 series is compatible with the TWINDRIVE TD1 family.

    • The HB40 series handsets are designed for use with LINAK® control boxes.

    • The HB50 is primarily designed for the LINAK JUMBO system and LINAK control boxes with memory functions.

    • HB60

    • The HB60 series is exclusively designed to be used together with the LINAK HOMELINE® system:

    • HB70

    • HB70 combines ergonomic design and functionality. LINAK offers HB70 with protection class IPX6 as standard and a range of options such as control of up to 5 actuators, memory and simultaneous drive. HB70 is designed to operate with most LINAK control boxes.
    • HB80

    • The HB80 hand control has an optimised ergonomic design shaped for the hand. The handset is suitable for all kinds of MEDLINE and CARELINE applications such as hospital beds, patient lifts, treatment and examination couches etc.
      The HB80 handset is available in versions with 10 or 12 activation buttons.
    • HC10

    • The hand control HC10 is designed for use with TWINDRIVE® systems for leisure beds.

      The HC10 has a contemporary design that matches the trend within interior design and combines ergonomic design and functionality into a userfriendly hand control with big intuitive buttons.
    • HC10RF

    • The hand control HC10RF is designed for use with TWINDRIVE® radio frequency based (RF) systems for leisure beds. The hand control has a contemporary design that matches the trend within interior design. The HC10RF combines ergonomic design and functionality into a userfriendly hand control with big intuitive buttons and without annoying cable.
    • HD80

    • The HD80 is a control with an optimized ergonomic design and functions that are activated via “dome” buttons.
      The front cover is especially designed for patient lifters and JUMBO Care with service monitor.
    • HL70

    • HL70 is a hand control with integrated locking function, where a selective locking of the different functions is available by use of a special key.
      Locking of specific or all functions ensure safety for patients or elderly by preventing unintended bed positions.
    • HL80

    • The hand control HL80 has an optimised ergonomic design and switch activations.
      The HL80 is a lockable handset, which makes it possible to lock or unlock one or several functions.
      It is available in several different standard versions with a variation of symbols for easy interaction with end-users.
    • RF Receiver & HB10

    • The HB10RF and RFR system is a perfect choice for a wide range of adjustable furniture applications. The wireless system based on radio frequency technology (RF) is perfect for flat screen applications where cables are undesired and an infrared eye is an unwise solution.
    • ACL

    • The ACL (Attendant Control Lock) box is a one turn button box fitted to Hospital Beds and Nursing Home Beds use where the patient positioning must be carefully controlled by the medical staff.
      The ACL disconnects all functions on the handset.
    • ACM

    • The ACM (Mini Attendant Control) box is fitted to Hospital Beds and Nursing Home Beds for use where patient positioning must be carefully controlled by the medical staff.
      The ACM is a low-cost alternative to the existing ACP  and disconnects the function between handset and control box.
    • ACP

    • The ACP (Attendant Control Panel) is used with advanced Hospital Bed and Nursing Home Beds where patient positioning must be carefully controlled by medical staff.
      The ACP gives nursing staff direct control over critical positioning functions while giving the patient a limited degree of adjustment.
    • ACC

    • The ACC (Attendant Control Compact) is a cost optimised and compact box with up to 11 buttons that can be used as Handset keys or lock-outs. The lock-out function can be made visible by using LEDs. The ACC is compatible with control boxes that use an OpenBus™ interface e.g. CB20.
    • ACK

    • The OPENBUS™ system makes it possible to use keypads as Attendant Controls or Handsets integrated in the bed side rails. The keypads are named ACK (Attendant Control Keypads). A PCBA and a cable is included when ordering the ACK part no.
    • ACO

    • The ACO (Attendant Control OpenBus™) is a cost optimised and compact unit with up to 15 buttons that can be used as Handset keys or Lock-outs. The lock-out function can be made visible by using yellow LED's.
    • DP

    • The DP (desk panel) is a classic control developed to adjust all kinds of desks ranging from heavy duty workstations to office desks.
      The DP is compact in design and easy to mount under various types of height adjustable desks. The DP can control up to 3 columns/ actuators independently.
    • DPA

    • The DPA desk panel is a small, compact and userfriendly panel, which can be used for all kinds of height adjustable desks from heavy-duty workstations to standard office desks.
    • DPB

    • The compact design and mounting friendliness of the DPB makes it an optimum choice of desk panel for height adjustable desks where only up and down functions are required.
    • DPH

    • The DPH desk panel is a small, compact and user friendly panel, which can be used for all kinds of height adjustable desks from heavy-duty workstations to standard office desks.
    • DPH Medical

    • The DPH Medical is made especially for the medical segment.

      The sophisticated solution is based on touch techniques, which are known from e.g. induction stoves and combines high-class design with hich-class techniques, i.e. movement via a simple touch.
    • DP1C

    • The DP1C is a 1-channel version of DP for operation of single or parallel channels up and down. As standard, the DP1C has memory to save your favourite positions and display for height readout. Furthermore, the display can show error codes and thereby help to diagnose possible failures.
    • DPF1C

    • The DPF1C desk panel is a perfect choice for a wide range of desks and workstations with a demand for a panel with height read-out
    • DP1V + HB20

    • For furniture applications such as flat screens a wireless control system like the DP1V desk panel and the HB20 handset is a perfect choice. The system allows you to adjust you flat screen and e.g. move it in and out of a cabinet.
    • FS

    • The Foot Switch is a modular system, developed for use together with LINAK control boxes. The LINAK Foot Switch is designed for control of physiotherapeutic beds, hospital beds, dental chairs, treatment chairs, computer workstations, office desks, etc. It can also be used as a “stand alone” item for industrial applications.
    • FS2

    • The FS2 Foot Switch is developed for use together with LINAK control boxes and especially designed for mounting on a support plate.
    • FS3

    • The FS3 is a modular foot switch, developed for use together with LINAK® control boxes and IC actuators with intelligent Control. The LINAK foot switch is designed for control of hospital beds and couches etc.
    • FPP

    • FPP (Flexible Patient Panel) is a user-friendly control panel especially for elderly people, placed on a flexible arm to be mounted on the bed frame in front of the patients head.
    • LINAK Bed Control App

    • LINAK Bed Control is an app developed for adjustment of leisure beds equipped with TWINDRIVE systems.

      The app features the same functions as a regular hand control, but allows you to adjust your bed via your tablet or your smartphone.
    • Hand Control HB30

    • The HB30 hand control is designed for better user experience and ergonomic fit for the hands of caregivers. The compact size ensures one hand operation.

      The HB30 is especially suitable for patient lifts and other MEDLINE® and CARELINE® applications like couches, tables and chairs for treatment and examination.

      The HB30 is available in an analogue version and a OpenBus™ version.

    • BAJ

    • The BAJ battery pack has been specially developed for use with the JUMBO system. The battery pack is easy to exchange through an integrated snap system.
    • CBD SLS

    • LINAK has designed an SLS cable which is to be used with a safety limit switch or a safety rail for systems with a DESKLINE® CBD4 control box.
    • CHJ22

    • The CHJ2 charger has been specially designed for use as a wall-charger for the JUMBO system.
    • COBO20

    • The COBO20 is specially developed for use together with the JUMBO battery pack and CU20.
    • CH01

    • The CH01 Battery Charger gives the possibility to interchange the plug type with a simple “slide on” operation. This gives great versatility and a logistical advantage.
    • Clean Me & Check Me

    • Clean Me & Check Me are systems to save resources, such as gives a signal when it is time to clean the bed or when it is time for an inspection.
    • DC Connector

    • The DC CONNECTOR is a new TD3 accessory making it possible to connect a variety of standard articles equipped with a DC plug to your TWINDRIVE® system.
    • DJBH

    • The DIN Junction Box is designed for the use with 2 x TWINDRIVE TD1 220, 250 or TD1 280 simultaneously with 1 or 2 controls.
    • DJB

    • The DIN Junction Box is designed for use where there is a need for more than 1 or 2 controls to be connected to a control box.
    • LED Lightbox

    • The LED LIGHTBOX is a TD3 accessory which brings light to your bed application. Based on plug and play principles, just connect the LED LIGHTBOX to one of the channels of the TD3 and you can switch the light on and off via the handset.
    • MJB SMPS

    • The MJB Modular Junction Box is designed for use together with the CB20 and other OpenBus™ control boxes. The MJB makes it possible to connect handsets, attendant controls and accessories with the CB20.
    • MJB Gateway

    • The MJB Modular Junction Box is designed for use together with OpenBus™ control boxes (CB6S, CB16 and CB20).

      The MJB makes it possible to connect multiple handsets, attendant controls or it is also possible to use the MJB as a control unit for 3rd party products such as Out of Bed Detection, USB charger, Under Bed Light, etc.
    • MJB Under Bed Light (EXT)

    • The MJB with Under Bed light (UBL) is a simple solution to prevent falling accidents and make the patient feel safe. The UBL makes it easy for the patient to find their way back to the bed at night without disturbing the other patients.
    • MJB Under Bed Light (INT)

    • The MJB Modular Junction Box is designed for use together with OpenBus™ control boxes (CB6S, CB16 and CB20). The MJB makes it possible to connect multiple handsets, attendant controls or it is also possible to use the MJB as a control unit for 3rd party products such as Out of Bed Detection, USB charger, Under Bed Light etc.
    • Scale

    • The SCALE system provides complete weight measuring equipment made for the Hospital and Care environment, typically connected and mounted in Hospital Beds.
    • SLS

    • Safety Limit Switch SLS. The SLS cuts off the current from the motor in either out- or inwards direction. Can also be used as signal switch. The SLS is available in protection class up to IP66 washable. For all LINAK® actuators.
    • IRO

    • IRO is a part of the accessory portfolio - available for the CB OpenBusTM familiy. The Receiver is fitted to the bed so that the bed moveement can be controlled with signals received from a remote control.
    • CS16

    • The CS16 electronic limit switch is connected between the LINAK® actuator and a non-LINAK power supply, where it cuts out the current to the actuator in end position or if an obstacle is encountered.
    • BA18

    • The BA18 has been developed for use with the control boxes: CB18, CB14, CB12 and CB9. BA18 has a capacity of 1.2 Ah at 24 V DC.
    • TR6

    • The TR6 is a seperate external power supply box, which can be wall mounted or placed on the floor. - Input 230V - output 24V AC.
    • Massage Motor

    • Massage Motor. Massage is now an option with the TD1 280 TWINDRIVE™ solution
    • USB Connector

    • The USB CONNECTOR is a TD3 accessory making it possible to connect a variety of standard articles equipped with a USB plug to your TWINDRIVE® system.
    • Desk Panel DPF1W Wellness Switch

    • The DPF1W desk panel is a perfect choice for a wide range of office desks. By use of the display you can read out/track how much the desk is being used, the number of standing minutes accrued and how many calories are burned.

      In addition, the user can set a reminder for when it is time to move the desk. The hallmark of the DPF desk panel series is the modern design, which combines classic looks with intuitive, practical use.
    • 5th Driving Wheel
       

    • The 5th Driving Wheel is a drive wheel that is mounted under the bed. The 5th Driving Wheel system comprises of a driving wheel (from a 3rd party supplier), a control unit, a battery and a control handset.

      The “5th Driving Wheel” eases the work of the hospital porters, saves their time and reduces the number of injuries and sick days.
       
    • Bluetooth2LIN Box
       

    • The Bluetooth2LIN Box is a new TWINDRIVE® accessory making it possible to use an App to adjust your TWINDRIVE leisure bed.

      Simply connect the Bluetooth Box to the TWINDRIVE system and download the LINAK Bed Control App and your bed can be adjusted via your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
       
    • EBC - Electronic Brake Control

    • The EBC is designed for use together with 3rd party castors and the LINAK OpenBus™ control system, including JUMBO Care.

      The EBC - Electronic brake control - can replace traditional (mechanical) central locking systems for castors on hospital and nursing home beds or medical applications like e.g. shower equipment.
    • Radio Frequency Transmitter Box

    • LINAK has designed a radio frequency transmitter box called RFT, which can make DESKLINE® panels wireless.

      Connect the RFT box with your choice of desk panel and the desk panel is wireless and can be mounted away from the motor system.
    • Switch Mode Power Supply SMPS001
       

    • The Switch Mode Power Supply called SMPS001, is compatible with the TD1 280 SMPS and is a perfect choice for a wide range of slatted bed applications and box spring beds where moderate power is needed.

      The SMPS system ensures a pleasant noise level and a constant speed level, which increases the comfort level for the user of the bed.

    • The SMPS30 is a very powerful Switch Mode Power Supply typically used for treatment or examination couches. The SMPS30 is an eco-friendly solution due to a low standby power consumption compared to traditional transformer solutions. The universal input voltage makes the SMPS adaptable to the worldwide market irrespective of the input voltage.

      Exchangeable mains and output cables make it easy to exchange cables due to wear and tear and ensures a safe application and worldwide compatibility.
    • Service Data Tool for IC Actuators
       

    • Service Data Tool ensures efficient maintenance of electric couches/tables for treatment and examination. It also helps prevent misuse and keeps the service data even if you have to replace an IC actuator.

      Actuator service data is essential to know when it is time for recommended service visits.
    • Service Data Tool for JUMBO CARE 2nd generation

    • There is a trend towards more scheduled service of patient lifts. Service Data Tool ensures efficient maintenance of patient lifts, which makes sense for both the patient and the caregiver as it ensures:

      It is essential to have knowledge about the wear and tear of the actuators to know when it is time for a recommended service visit by a service technician.
  • MEDLINE® & CARELINE®

  • The MEDLINE® & CARELINE® Division provides products for use in hospital and health care applicationss, thereby giving comfort for both patient and caregiver.

    LINAK MEDLINE and CARELINE systems provide ideal solutions for use in hospital, nursing home as well as other health care equipment. However, the MEDLINE and CARELINE systems may also be applied in all kinds of clinics and fitness equipment, long-term care equipment in private homes as well as in other equipment used by disabled persons.

    Both the MEDLINE and CARELINE systems are medically approved and their wide product ranges are designed for long life and hard use. At the same time, the solid constructions provide additional degrees of comfort and security to the patient. Additionally, all electrical components in the MEDLINE and CARELINE systems conform to the most stringent regulations for safety. Thus, the components are thoroughly tested to ensure they work safely in wet or damp conditions.

    The MEDLINE system may be applied in various hospital equipment including hospital beds, patient hoists, incubators and stretchers. Besides, LINAK supplies a number of components to the dental chair industry.

    Safety, easy to operate and comfort for patient and caregiver are some of the parameters that the wide range of MEDLINE systems fulfils. The electrically adjustable applications mean that the caregiver no longer has to make heavy lifts. In addition, the patient can make him or herself more comfortable and independent.

    Furthermore, the MEDLINE system is medically approved and fully meets the requirements for IP 66 washable approved products for washing tunnels. Hence, all products in this system can resist the conditions and temperatures found within the washing tunnels.

    The CARELINE system is typically built into health care equipment such as care beds, wheelchairs and bath lifts. Due to the electrically adjustable health care equipment the patient can find the position that he or she finds most comfortable and this often leads to self-sufficiency.

    The CARELINE system is developed so that it is easy to operate and can therefore benefit both the patient and caregiver. Moreover, the CARELINE system has been developed with special attention to the demands of the care sector regarding safety and performance. For example, the system offers electronic overload protection (EOP), an IP 66 protection and a locking mechanism for plugs.

    Furthermore, the CARELINE system is a complete actuator system comprising up to four actuators, a fully integrated control box and controls. In other words, the CARELINE system allows a combination of several actuators and movements to be controlled via a single set of user-friendly controls and a control box.

    Today there is more and more focus on the working environment and thanks to LINAK´s products, it is possible to create ergonomic workplaces as the products help to reduce injuries caused by heavy lifting, repetitive strain and poor working positions. For example, the TECHLINE system can be mounted in working platforms, large mixer drums, conveyor belts, salt grid spreaders and feeding machines.

    By equipping the various machines with products from the TECHLINE system, it is possible to ease the heavy loads, adjust the hatches, tilt the large mixer drums and so on. Moreover, the TECHLINE system has a colossal number of very different applications.

    The TECHLINE system may also be installed in valves, dampers, smoke detections, ventilation shafts or other ventilation systems, thereby easing the work for many people. Moreover, LINAK provides a system that can easily reach inaccessible places, open or close sunblinds and roof windows, regulate ventilators, and close gates automatically. However, the possibilities are endless; it is only your imagination that sets the limits.

    The TECHLINE system can be used in various industrial machines including fairway cutters, lawn mowers, combine harvesters, salt grid spreaders, floor cleaning machines and platforms in cars.

    In mobile applications the products often work under extreme conditions and they are therefore designed to function in harsh conditions such as water and steam, dust, dirt and variable weather. What is more, the products need no maintenance even though they are exposed to harsh conditions.
