Drive-integrated controller KW-PLC2
The KW-PLC2 is an add-on card to be plugged onto the controller card in the inverter. This changes the drive controller into a complete controller solution which also allows for efficiently implementing the design of
complex multi-axle applications. Together with the AMKASYN operator panels and decentral I/Os, it results in demanding machine controllers.
Drive-integrated controller KW-R03P
The KW-R03P the the PLC solution integrated in the drive for simple controlling tasks.
This compact solution allows you to easily and cost-efficiently implement decentral structures. For example, every axle can be equipped with a separate PLC.
Cycle Control
 
To make it easy for users to operate conventional, servo-electric lathes, AMK has developed cycle control for lathes. This system is based on the AMKAMAC compact controller - an operator panel and PLC combined in a single incredibly compact unit. Cycle control provides a range of preprogrammed functions, for example longitutinal turning, traverse turning and deep-hole drilling, which make it very easy for users to operate and handle conventional servo lathes and mean that all they have to do is enter the dimensions from the drawings into the operator panel.
AIPEXPRO
 
AIPEXPRO contains all the engineering tools required for controlling a machine throughout its entire life cycle, in just a single software tool. Tasks that can be performed using the engineering tools integrated into AIPEXPRO include configuration, programming, parameterization, commissioning, optimization, remote maintenance, and diagnostics. This has the advantage of saving the user the need to make time-consuming modifications between programs.
 
Technology functions
 
The AMK technology library contains proven PLC and motion control functions that are preprogrammed as function modules. This greatly simplifies the commissioning and control of your machines and systems.
Modular CNC controllers
CNC 900 controllers are high-quality, modular, individual controllers for multi-axle and multi-machine applications with convenient handling.

The modular hardware design with different CPU, axis and I/O modules makes the CNC controllers perfectly suitable for a broad range of applications. The high degree of adaptability ensures a future-oriented controller. Convenient modification options on the user program side also allow for solving future tasks.
Compact CNC controllers
The compact CNC controllers 905 and 903 are the economical and cost-efficient solution for simpler applications to control up to 8 axes.

The controller communicates via the CAN bus with the drives and the binary inputs and outputs (I/O). The CNC 902…905 offer:
I/O modules
 
The intelligent servo inverters of series KE/KW feature local, binary and analog interfaces as standard.

The number of local inputs and outputs can even be increased by using the KW-EA2 add-on card in the inverter. Dependent upon your requirements, you can also implement an almost limitless number of decentral I/O modules.
 
 
Servo Inverters
AMKASYN Servo Inverters - The Most Compact Series KE/KW

The modular AMKASYN servo inverter series KE/ KW consists of a compact supply module (KE) and different compact inverter modules (KW) in various power ranges.
 
Compact supply module KE
The KE compact supply modules generate the DC bus voltage for the connected
inverters.
Compact inverter module KW
The digital compact servo drive modules KW control the motors in 4-quadrant mode
precisely and with high dynamic response. A multifunctional connection to a higherlevel
control unit via various field busses is possible.
Double inverter module KWD
The compact servo drive module KWD contains two independent KW drives in
one enclosure. This represents a low-cost and extremely compact solution for servo
drives with low power ratings.
 
Two-axis module KWZ
The two-axes inverter module contains two independent KW drives in one enclosure. There is no additional contoller card necessary because it is already integrated. This represents a low-cost and extremely compact solution for precise and dynamic control of synchronous, asynchronous and linear motors etc. Combined with the compact supply modules, this are extremely low-cost multiaxes servo drive systems.
 
KE-F/KW-F
with integrated air-cooling
The only difference between the module of this type and the modules in cold plate technology is the air-cooling element on the back of the module. For appliances with low power, this series are a cost-effective solution. The inverters of the F series have also the integrated safety function “STO” in PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 as well as category 4 according to EN954-1.
Controller cards
 
The controller cards are inserted into the card plug-in slot of the compact servo drive
module KW. The entire control of the drives including all monitoring and communication
is realized via the digital signal processor on the card.
Option cards
 
A range of option cards are for individual function enhancement, which can be inserted into the inverter‘s controller card.
Engineering Tool
AIPEXPRO
AIPEXPRO integrates all engineering tools needed during the life cycle of a machine, such as programming, parameterization, commissioning, optimization and diagnostics. This saves you time-consuming efforts to coordinate, for example, between your PLC program containing drive parameters and the configuration of user data exchange via the field bus. AIPEXPRO does this work for you automatically and frees you from all tasks not directly tied to your application.

High-Torque Motors of Series DT
The high-torque motors of series DT offer an innovative concept for highly dynamic applications.

With high numbers of poles and optimized plate geometry, the motors reach an outstanding power density and a system-efficient torque. This motor series gives you a compact drive which is particularly suited for applications with a high number cycles. This series was developed with respect to high reliability, high dynamics, small dimensions and to be largely maintenance-free. Its high overload capacity predestines it for peak loads.
Compact DTK series
in short version
DT series high-torque motors are now available in a short version. The new DTK design has been specially developed for use wherever space is at a premium, and is ideal for use as a drive for linear axes with toothed belts and planetary gears, for example. The new design has been achieved by making the already extremely compact DT motors even shorter and flatter.
Synchronous Servo Motors of Series DS
The DS synchronous servo motors excel by a compact type of construction, high dynamics and a large speed range. They consist of brushless, permanently-excited AC servo motors of different sizes. The use of rare earth magnets allows for particularly high energy densities and for brief high overload capacities for highest demands on dynamics.

The motors are available as convection-cooled, ventilated and liquid-cooled.
Asynchronous Servo Motors of Series DH
AMKASYN DH main spindle motors are dynamic and robust three-phase induction motors. This makes them particularly suitable as main drives or servo drives with high power. They reach a speed range at constant power of 1:3 with a rated power up to 38 kW and a rated torque up to 240 Nm. Two to three times the rated torque can be output briefly up to the rated speed. The robust design and the reinforced bearing allow for high radial loads of the bearing. AMKASYN DH main spindle motors feature excellent servo characteristics.
Asynchronous Servo Motors of Series DW
The liquid cooling gives these three-phase induction motors a special compact type of construction and a higher power density. There are practically no thermal effects on adjacent modules through hot-air flows. In addition, the waste heat can be used in a simple way. AMKASYN DW main spindle motors offer a speed range at constant power of 1:3, rated power of up to 28 kW and rated torque up to 150 Nm. The robust design and the reinforced bearing allow for high radial loads of the bearing. AMKASYN DW main spindle motors features excellent servo characteristics.
 
Asynchronous Servo Motors of Series DV
AMKASYN DV servo motors are robust three-phase induction motors. The cannot  be demagnetized and excel with high overload capacity and good smooth running characteristics. AMKASYN DV servo motors provide an almost constant torque from standstill to rated speed. The field-weakening range allows for constant output power up to three times the rated speed. The maximum speed goes up to 10,000 1/min, the torque range from 0.3 to 26 Nm. AMKASYN DV servo motors are designed for low scatter and allow for extreme rates of current rise for high dynamics. In conjunction with the digital AMK servo converters of series AMKASYN, they can be used in a positive way for all drive tasks, such as torque control, speed control, positioning, and synchronous control.
Hollow shaft motors SPINDASYN

A modular and compact mechatronic unit that consists of a powerful servo motor with an axial bearing and an integrated mutliturn absolute encoder.

In connection with screw-nut systems the hollow shaft motor results in a ready to use linear drive.
