Servo Inverters
AMKASYN Servo Inverters - The Most Compact Series
KE/KW
The modular AMKASYN servo inverter series KE/ KW consists of a compact
supply module (KE) and different compact inverter modules (KW) in various
power ranges. The individual modules can be freely placed.
Features:
- Power range up to 120 kVA
- Modular design
- Nearly limitless module arrangement
- Number of servo axes at a supply module is limited only by total
power
- Cooling with coldplate technology
- Regenerative feedback optional
- Variable encoder technology standard encoder inputs for resolver,
square or sine-
wave encoder, EnDat, Hiperface pulse forwarding
- Multifunctional networking via powerful ACC bus
- PLC functionality optional
- Fieldbuses:
- SERCOS
- Profibus DP
- CAN
- EtherCAT
The most important advantages at a glance:
- Reduction of control cabinet space through compact devices
- Cost savings through possible integration of control cabinet in
machine
- Cost-optimized solutions through modular system design
- Complex networked machines possible through precise synchronization
- Simple implementation of motion control functions through integrated
PLC
- Integrated safety functions to category 4

Compact supply KE
The compact supply modules KE generate the DC bus voltage
for the
connected inverters/axle modules and are available in the following
versions:
KEN: Not line regenerative supply module
KE: Line regenerative supply module
KES: Sinusoidal line regenerative supply module
|
 |
Compact inverter modules KW
The digital compact inverter modules KW control the
drives in the 4-quadrant
operation precisely and with high dynamics. They can be multifunctionally
networked to the master control via the internal ACC bus or via different
fieldbuses.
The basic unit must be equipped with a separately selectable controller
card.
|
 |
Double Inverter Modules KWD
The compact inverter module KWD receives two independent
KW inverters in one housing. They form a cost-efficient and very compact
solution for multi-axle systems of low power.
The basic unit must be equipped with two separately selectable controller
cards.
|
 |
KWZ two-axis module
The KWZ contains two independent KW inverters in one
frame. This represents a low-cost solution for servo drives.
The KWZ module facilitates the servo control of motors with position
encoders as well as the control of synchronous and asynchronous motors
without encoders. All the device functions are available for each axis
separately.
|
|
|
|
Double-Frequency Inverter KWF
The double-frequency inverter KWF offers the economical
solution for all simple actuators and tachometer drives, such as for
material feed and withdrawal devices^as well as complete conveyor technology
within a machine involving servo drives. This results in a uniform, compact
design and communication system for all servo and auxiliary drives.
|
 |
Controller Cards
The controller cards are inserted into the card slot of
the compact inverter module KW. The entire drive control is implemented via
the digital signal processor on the card, including all the monitoring and
communication. The controller cards KW-R03 and KW-R03P offer 2 slots for
add-on cards (e.g. I/O card, fieldbus card, SERCOS interface, PLC card...).
|
 |
Option Cards
A series of add-on cards can be inserted on the
controller card of the inverter for the individual expansion of the
functions.
|
 |
Tools
The AIPEX tool is a software for quick commissioning and
parameterization of the AMKASYN servo inverters KE/KW.
AIPEX can also be used to easily and quickly perform the parameterization
and commissioning of a complex KE/KW system via a standard PC.
In doing so, AIPEX allows for full access to all devices within the machine
via ACC bus master. In this case, it is not important which number of
individual devices is installed in the machine.
AIPEX can handle any mix of KE, KW, KWD, KWF, and KU devices.

Motors
DYNASYN Servo Motors
The broad AMK motor program offers you the right motor for every
application: High-torque motors, hollow-shaft motors, geared motors,
integrated motors as well as customer-specific motors. The motors are
available in a variety of power classes, types of construction, and cooling
types. They excel by high reliability, high dynamics, small dimensions, low
moments of inertia, and largely no maintenance. You can implement standard
as well as high-end solutions.

|
High-Torque Motors of Series DT
The high-torque motors of series DT offer an innovative
concept for highly dynamic applications.
|
 |
Synchronous Servo Motors of Series DS
The DS synchronous servo motors excel by a compact type
of construction, high dynamics and a large speed range. They consist of
brushless, permanently-excited AC servo motors of different sizes.
|
 |
Asynchronous Servo Motors of Series DH
AMKASYN DH main spindle motors are dynamic and robust
three-phase
induction motors. This makes them particularly suitable as main drives or
servo drives with high power.
|
 |
Asynchronous Servo Motors of Series DW
The liquid cooling gives these three-phase induction
motors a special compact type of construction and a higher power density.
There are practically no thermal effects on adjacent modules through hot-air
flows.
|
|
|
|
Asynchronous Servo Motors of Series DV
AMKASYN DV servo motors are robust three-phase induction
motors. The cannot be demagnetized and excel with high overload capacity and
good smooth running characteristics.
