Our new framed KTY-Q and KTY-R synchronous torque motors set a new benchmark with regard to maximum drive system torque and stiffness, and are also extremely compact. The KTY model series is a useful alternative to geared motors in any application you can think of, and the motors in this model series have sensibly graduated torques ranging from 12 Nm to 280 Nm. This means that direct drive technology is also available in this torque class for the first time, which is convenient for the user. Three different flange sizes are all available in 3-4 lengths in order to meet requirements in the best possible way.

With the new cost optimised synchronous servo motors KSY Q, Georgii Kobold extends the current motor range. This laminated motor is available from size 1 to 5. It completes the D-series when it comes to medium speeds and it achieves higher torques in a more compact design. The available torques range from 0,55 Nm up to 45 Nm at a nominal speed of 3000 1/min.

GEORGII KOBOLD - asynchronous torque motors are special electrical and mechanical versions of three-phase asynchronous motors. They are designed to be short circuit-proof, i.e. they make it possible to leave stationary machinery switched on with the full mains voltage and maintain a torque, or provide torques for control purposes at certain speeds.
