VARICON - Three-phase AC motor with integrated frequency
inverter
The VARICON combines a three-phase AC motor with a
frequency inverter. It is available for all common fieldbus systems, the
default setting is optimized for general operation, drive parameters are
preset and it is equipped with complete radio interference suppression.
Furthermore the VARICON is suitable for a wide speed setting range up to
twice the nominal frequency and for 2, 4 and 6 pole designs. Revolutions up
to 20.000 rpm are possible with the available sizes from 80 to 100.
The VARICON - a variable speed drive in a rugged housing for versatile
applications.
Wherever drives need to be controlled - the motor/frequency inverter
combination VARICON is the suitable solution.

Synchronous Technology
The new electrically commutated HANNING synchronous
motors are mainly characterized by their compact design and high efficiency,
which is especially suited for partial-load operations, and their
application specific layout. Synchronous motors are available as enclosed
motors in sizes 56 - 132, with varying performance categories up to 7.5 kW.
Versions are also available without enclosures. They feature variable speed
settings, total stability and thus a high tolerance against any possible
load fluctuations. The rotors are equipped with high-quality permanent
magnets and operate without loss.

Linear actuators in synchronous technology
The new generation of HANNING linear actuators is
characterized by its high acceleration values, positioning accuracy and
almost wearfree operation as well as high force density and low cogging
forces.
The secondary stage can be individually designed according to the required
traversing length thanks to a modular system. The extensions are 216 mm
each. The motors are available in two sizes and five widths between 100 N
and 3500 N. The compact design of the linear actuators is achieved by an
innovative winding technique in the primary stage.
The actuators are supplied through an energy chain. A linear path measuring
system detects the speed and position of the active primary element while
the drive is traversing.
All motor components are enclosed with UL approved potting compounds and can
be integrated in many different machinery concepts.

Frequency Inverter DriveCCI - The Individual
The DriveCCI frequency inverters are available in open
design in protection class IP00, enclosed design IP20, and an output power
of 3.0 kW. The basic power stages for all single- and three-phase inverters
are designed according to the mains and power output and can be combined
with various control stages. The integrated RFI filter ensures safe and
reliable operation. As an option, an active power factor correction (PFC)
can be integrated to ensure compliance with the harmonic current standard EN
61000-3-2 for single-phase mains supply up to 240 V

Frequency Inverter DriveMCI - The Flexible
The DriveMCI series is based on several power stages in
two sizes. The frequency inverters are available up to 2.2 kW (single-phase)
and up to 4.0 kW (three-phase). They are equipped with either 16-bit or
32-bit microprocessors which ensure perfect interaction between control,
drive and frequency inverter.

Frequency Inverter DriveLPI - The Compact
The DriveLPI frequency inverters are available for a
power range of up to 0.37 kW as single-phase units in open design. They are
equipped with a power and an interface card as well. The universal interface
provides connection for a PLC, IPC or customer-specific solution for
controlling the inverter.
A serial RS485 interface and a connection for the HANNING HBT operation unit
are integrated on the power card which makes the DriveLPI usable with its
basic configuration even without an interface board.

Electronic starter DriveSAS
The DriveSAS electronic starters for single-phase
asynchronous motors are available in two variants, 100 to 120 V and 200 to
240 V. They cover all motor powers, voltages and frequencies.

Industrial Motors
Modern production sites need intelligent drive
components. These drives must be equipped with the latest technology and
standards. Furthermore it must be ensured that they can be integrated
flexibly into the customer’s drive system. HANNING industrial motors meet
all these requirements and are suitable for worldwide application.
HANNING industrial motors are available in foot and flange design (FT and
FF) from size 56 to size 132. The 2, 4 and 6-pole motors reach speeds of
3000 / 1500 / 1000 r.p.m. at 50 Hz rated frequency and up to a power of 7.5
kW. As standard the motors are delivered in protection class IP 54 and
insulation class F.

Rotary-field magnet as standstill motor
Anti-blocking – One of the remarkable features of the
rotary-field magnet, a special three-phase asynchronous motor, is its
suitability for continuous operation with standstill torque. Being very
robust and low in maintenance the rotary-field magnet can, among others, be
used as winding motor or as supporting additional drive in the textile or
cable industry. It can also be applied for moving and fixing mechanical
elements in changing positions.

Frameless motors
HANNING's frameless motors are squirrel-cage motors. They
are maintenance free and mainly characterized by their rugged design. Two
different types are available, the single-phase AC motor up to 2.2 kW and
the three-phase AC motor up to 7.5 kW. As standard, frameless motors have
protection class F.

Oil-immersed motors
The basic version of HANNING oil-immersed motors are 2
and 4-pole three-phase AC motors up to 5.5 kW. Variantsfor single-phase
and/or special voltages are available. The standard oil-immersed motor is
frame size B3 / B14, it comes with rolling bearings, protection class F and
connection cables.

Smooth Housing Motors
The Smooth Housing Motor is characterized through its
special housing as well as having a wide range of motor versions. The
cooling of the fanless drive is carried out solely by convention. The smooth
housing without cooling fans makes easy cleaning which brings particular
advantages in the food processing and chemical industry. The robust,
asynchronous motors are available in the frame size 56 with a power range up
until 115 W.

Linear actuator SL 95

Powerful and quick
The range of HANNING encapsulated linear actuators is headed by the SL 95.
It enables pressure and tension up to 12,000 N and traversing speeds up to
42 mm/s or 50 mm/s which almost remain constant even at rated load.
The SL 95 linear actuators are ideal drives for a powerful and safe
adjustment of therapy tables and many more medical and industrial
applications. The reliable and rugged linear actuator can be adapted to the
requirements. Different stroke lengths are possible. They can be
individually controlled by either the patented HANNING pneumatic control or
electrically.
As option, the linear actuators are also available with a declutch system.
The power transmission can be interrupted in one direction so that the
traversing in is only caused by the weight which is loaded on the drive. The
declutching is achieved by a special bearing which ensures the power
transmission between worm and motor shaft.

of individual solutions. Together with the customer we define the drive
requirements regarding power, traversing speed and accuracy of position and
adapt the drive accordingly.

Linear actuator SL 80
Universal and compact
The new SL 80 is very powerful and covers up to 8,000 N. Many new
applications are possible. Its newly developed housing with integrated
endshield ensures a very compact design. The SL 80 is now also suitable for
smaller mounting spaces. The very rugged motors enable almost a
load-constant speed up to 15 mm/s.
As option, the SL 80 is also available with a declutch system. The power
transmission can be interrupted in one direction so that the traversing in
is only caused by the weight which is loaded on the drive. The declutching
is achieved by interrupting the power transmission between screw nut and
travel tube.

Linear actuator KL 95
Small and individual
The KL 95 is the smallest linear actuator of this series. It is however as
rugged as all the other drives. It is suitable for applications up to 4,000
N and traversing speeds of 18 mm/s.
As option, the KL 95 is also available with a declutch system. The power
transmission can be interrupted in one direction so that the traversing in
is only caused by the weight which is loaded on the drive.
The declutching is achieved by interrupting the power transmission between
screw nut and travel tube.
HANNING’s engineering department offers the development and implementation
of individual solutions.
Together with the customer we define the drive requirements regarding power,
traversing speed and accuracy of position and adapt the drive accordingly.

Linear actuator S 95 / SH 95
The linear actuators of the S 95 and SH 95 series have a
compact design. They are available as single-phase devices with 230 V and as
three-phase variant with 400 V.
Powerful single-phase and three-phase AC motors with a winding diameter of
95 mm provide large traversing forces and virtually constant traversing
speeds even under load changes. In thermally harsh environments bronze
gearboxes can be used.
Of course, we perfectly adapt the power, design and traversing speed of the
S 95 and SH 95 actuators to your individual application.

Linear actuator S 80 / SH 80
The compact linear actuators of the S 80 and SH 80 series
are available as single-phase devices with 230 V.
Powerful AC motors with a winding diameter of 80 mm provide large traversing
forces. High efficiency can be achieved by choosing a preferred direction
for the drive.
It is however possible to perfectly adapt the windings, spindles and
preferred direction of S 80 and SH 80 linear actuators to your individual
application.

Linear actuator S 71 / SH 71
The linear actuators of the S 71 and SH 71 series are
available as single-phase devices with 230 V.
A winding diameter of 71 mm provides the compactness required for many
applications.
It is however possible to perfectly adapt the spindles and winding
characteristics of S 71 and SH 71 actuators to your individual application.

Linear actuator S 56 / SH 56
The S 56 and SH 56 linear actuators are available as
single-phase devices with 230 V. With a winding diameter of 56 mm they are
the smallest of our linear actuators. Due to their compact design they can
be used for many different applications.
It is however possible to perfectly adapt the windings, spindles and
preferred direction of S 56 and SH 56 linear actuators to your individual
application.

Linear actuator SI 95 / SHI 95
The SI 95 series linear actuators with screw nuts and the
SHI 95 series with encapsulated screw types have been designed for
industrial applications. They are capable of forces up to 12,000 N and are
designed for very small mounting spaces.
They are especially suitable for applications such as moving doors, ramps
and conveyor belts.
Because of their extensive accessory programme and modular design, the SI 95
/ SHI 95 series linear actuators are attractive and universally applicable
drive components for industrial applications.
HANNING’s engineering department offers the development and implementation
of individual solutions. Together with the user, we define the drive
requirements regarding power, speed, accuracy of positioning and also other
technical details such as windings which reduce the noise generation. This
engineering competence enables HANNING to develop individual types.

Low voltage frequency inverter DC-FI
The DC-FI is a low-voltage frequency inverter for
controlling three-phase asynchronous motors. It can be used with any HANNING
linear actuator and lifting columns with low-voltage three-phase winding.

Lifting Column
The lifting column has been designed to steplessly lift
and lower cantilevered and heavy loads. There are 2 and 3 piece column lifts
available offering different lifting heights.
The powerful telescopic drive enables a lifting torque of up to 7,000 N and
traversing speeds of up to 32 mm/s which remains virtually constant at rated
load. The large cross-section of the column and the precise guidance ensure
tip-resistant operation. Different control options provide the user with
highest possible comfort. The lifting column has a very aesthetic design and
does not need any additional covering.

Tracking system for solar cells
Tracking systems adjust solar cells to the current
position of the sun. Depending on the location, the tracking system can
increase the efficiency of the cell by up to 40 % compared with stationary
systems. Our system is suitable for solar modules up to 40 m² and two-axis
programmable tracking.
HANNING tracking system consists of low-profile gearbox, tilting drive and
control unit.

Vibration Motors
HANNING vibration motors are used in therapy tables and
massage chairs as well as cosmetics chairs. They support therapeutic
treatment with different vibration levels and types to relax the muscles.
HANNING vibration motors are also available as sets, comprising three
motors, one vibration control and a pneumatic handheld switch. There are
various designs to choose from.

hamatic has been continuously improved so that we can guarantee best
sleeping comfort.
hamatic is built with an extremely rugged aluminium frame and is available
in sizes from 158 cm to 218 cm in length and 68 cm to 158 cm in width. The
high-quality spring battens perfectly adjust to the body and give flexible
support for all common mattress types.
The frame can be adjusted using either a de-energised pneumatic control unit
or an infrared remote control with memory functions. Since safety and
reliability have highest priority, slip clutches ensure that injuries are
impossible.

Drain pumps with synchronous motor
A
world of possibilities – Our synchronous drain pumps are developed for
use in washing machines and dishwashers. We have many different variants of
drain pumps as well as design and development expertise to insure that the
performance meets the requirements of every application.
The single-phase synchronous motor which drives the drain pump has almost
completely replaced the shaded pole motor which has dominated this sector
for decades. This pump type is now simply referred to as a "synchronous
pump".
Our HANNING synchronous drain pump is absolutely leak-proof. This is
achieved by a new pump design. The dynamic sealing, used in shaded pole
pumps could be eliminited. Another advantage is the better resistance to
foreign objects. Due to the design, they can be cleaned away more easily
because the pump can change the direction of rotation.

Drain pumps with asynchronous motor
Everything is possible – Our drain pumps are
especially developed for the use in washing machines and dishwashers. A
multitude of variants as well as service and development efforts ensure that
all wishes of individual applications are fulfilled.

Hot air blowers (up to 5,000 m³/h)
Hot air - For industrial cookers, industrial
baking ovens, drying stoves, warming and thawing appliances. The hot air
blowers are equipped with a motor individually developed for them. The
advantage is that the roller bearing nearest to the drive motor in the hot
air chamber is cooled intensively due to a special hollow shaft and the
integration of an intermediate radial fan. The bearing which is very
sensitive to heat is by this means protected against damages and expensive
special constructions are no longer necessary.

Radial fans (up to 5,500 m³/h)
Two-fold or three-fold – Radial fans for air
conditioning systems, central ventilation systems (channel system), large
extractor hoods, air curtains and heat pumps for air/water systems. The fan
wheels are made of zinc-coated steel plate and are vibration-free, due to
static and dynamic balancing of wheels. They are driven by 3-phase or
speed-variable single-phase induction motors in conventional design
(internal running).
