Offer Profile
Yamaha Robotics offers one of the widest variety of single axis, cartesian and pick & place robots available on the market today. With payload capacities up to 80 Kg and cycle times as short as 0.45 seconds, Yamaha Robotics can supply one of the most effective and economical robot solution available for your application.
Product Abstract

FLIP-X Series
Full line-up of YAMAHA single-axis robots supports the needs from the production site now and in future. There are 27 versatile models in all now after strictly pursuing functionality, durability, ease of maintenance and economic efficiency and they assure more freedom in designing the line.

We, at YAMAHA, also use many robots in our production lines and have devoted our selves in their development, pursuing the function, performance and work efficiency in view of the actual needs of the job site.
PHASER Series
Demands for higher speed, enhanced quality and less cost are increasing more than ever. How to meet these demands quickly is the task expected of manufacturers now and in the future. YAMAHA PHASER series is a completely new line up of high performance single axis robots in which the cost factor and performance are combined in a desirable way. "YAMAHA PHASER series" is the key word that in creating the manufacture scene of the next generation with new value concepts.
YP-X Series
YAMAHA YP-X series robot is Yamaha's original pick & place type robot developed in pursuit of "higher speed, more compact size and more ease of use". We, at YAMAHA, always make efforts to develop new products with advanced technology, e. g., combining contrary concepts such as super high speed and yet highly accurate or compact size and yet high payload and have achieved successful results.

TRANSERVO Series
The TRANSERVO series with its new control method combines the best features of servo and stepping motors.

• simple design & low cost
• no vibration when it stops
• smooth movement
• constant torque at all speed range

Fixed payload regardless of robot speed
• robot can operate at high speed even with a heavy load so selecting a robot model is easy
• shortens tact time

Energy saver
• basic operation is the same as a servo motor so there is less wasted power consumption
• can be set with a "no hunting" stop mode

Resolver is used in position detector
• position detecting is stable even in harsh environments with particles or oil mist, etc.

Utilizes a 4-line circular arc groove 2-point contact guide
• ideal for handling large moment loads because the ball structure has minimal differential ball slip
TRANSERVO-SR Series
Maintenance-free
A lubricator used in the ball screw and a contact scraper installed at the entrance and exit of the rod deliver near maintenance free operation.

Combines best features of servo and stepping motors
Stepping motors have great features such as a low price and no hunting when stopped, but also have defects such as a drastic drop in torque at high speeds and large power consumption while stopped. TRANSERVO uses a newly developed vector control method that ensures minimal torque loss in the high-speed range, saves energy, and produces less noise. TRANSERVO also delivers the same functions and performance as those of a servomotor at lower cost.

Resolver with superb ruggedness
The YAMAHA TRANSERVO uses closed-loop control and absolutely no step-out. As the position detector for motors, TRANSERVO also uses a resolver that is well-known for high reliability and has been employed by YAMAHA higher-grade robot models. This gives stable position detection even in harsh environments including dust particles and oil mist. Position resolution is excellent since there are 20480 pulses per single rotation.
XY-X Series
With the future production scheme already taken into consideration, operation to return to the origin is no more necessary. Adoption of the completely absolute system for all models enables quick return for production. There robots are now indispensable at the production site for higher speed production and reduction of loss time. As these models have a very rigid frame and highly accurate positioning function, they can cope with higher level applications.

YAMAHA robots have successfully proved their reliability and ease of maintenance which are both important factors of machines. Since the installation position and origin position used for the models of X series are same as those of the equivalent models of t series, shift to the latter series can be done without difficulty. The motor incorporated structure of the robots is short enough to be added to the line easily. As a number of variations are available, it is possible to select the right functions and size. We, at YAMAHA, take not only the current production scheme but also the future production scheme into consideration.

CONTROLLER Series
Robot controllers are designed in-house for YAMAHA robots. Optimal values for servo parameters required for operating the robot such as gain are stored beforehand in the robot. This task is easy and does not require special knowledge or experience or difficult setups.
Yamaha's robot controllers with confidence and successful results now assure easier handling with complete absolute incorporated as standard specification.
