The Serious Yacht 13.80 has a long, extended hull with a
beautiful bow and a classic fan stern. A prominent steering cabin/salon and
a spacious open cockpit that comfortably accommodates all passengers. Wide
enough to offer plenty of deck space without compromising on interior space.
The entrance to the cockpit is located near a large swimming platform. Below
the gangways in the stern is a storage space for (folding) bikes. The
cockpit features a large u-shaped bench that is only interrupted by the
entrance. The entire cockpit is sun and rain proof and doesn’t need to be
covered.

The Gently 36’ combines a rugged exterior with elegant
features. The perfectly painted wooden superstructure greatly enhances the
yacht's appearance, but this optional decoration may also be omitted. The
gangways and swimming platform give access to the spacious, teak paneled
open cockpit. The cockpit can be closed off with a solid mirrored door. The
doors that separate the steering salon from the cockpit can easily be opened
to turn the steering salon and the cockpit into one large space. The Gently
36’ offers a relatively large amount of space – for many the determining
factor in the purchase of a boat. The interior of the boat features at least
2 meters of headroom.

The Gently 36’ Sport is a versatile boat. Its ideal
dimensions are suitable for almost every waterway in the Netherlands (and
abroad, of course). The first Gently 36’ Sport has a CE-category of C, so
you will find this boat almost exclusively on inland waterways and rivers.
However, if you wish to explore offshore, such as the Mediterranean, we can
also manufacture the Gently 36’ Sport with a CE-category of B. The most
striking feature of the Gently 36’ Sport is its spacious open cockpit with
an open steering area. Between these two spaces stands an electrical furling
mast on a firm base, a piece of art in itself.

Serious Yachts is also the place for all your yacht
maintenance needs or even a complete refit. Thanks to our many years of
experience we possess all the knowledge and expertise to carry out small
jobs or do a complete refit.
Our experts will thoroughly review and assess your boat to make sure nothing
is overlooked. This is one of the aspects that makes a refit more
challenging than new construction; we have to be very well prepared.
What should be replaced and what can be maintained? Good communication with
the owner plays an important role here. Our team is fully aware of this and
will involve you as much as possible and prioritize your needs. Ideas and
changes have to be carried out quickly and effectively, without losing track
of the budget.
