475 Commander
| An exiting concept from Storebro and a nice supplement to Storebro´s fleet of classically elegant boats built according to the newest techniques in boat building.
The 475 Commander has been designed in response to an often repeated request to Storebro to build a boat under50 ft with three comfortable double cabins and two heads. An aft deck in level with the deck saloon for optimal contact between these two areas as well as a large aft storage (lazerette) has also been on the wishing list.
The wheel house has been raised one step from the deck saoon level for good visibility and like on all Storebro boats there is a good size chart table in front of the helm and all navigation instruments are within handy reach for the helmsman. A large L shaped sofa with table offers plenty of space and gives a good view forward for the passengers. Other practical details in the wheel house are a door to port side deck and an internal staircase leading to the flying bridge, in addition to one from the aft deck.
Owner´s cabin with a large 2 m long double bed is located in the bow and has plenty of wardrobe and locker space. The two guest cabins are located side by side amidship. Each with two full length berths and with wardrobe and locker space. Port cabin offers direct access to the head. The galley with plenty of countertop and locker space is located along the starboard side of the deck saloon, giving the chef a chance to feel part of the other passengers activities onboard during cooking. 230 V ceramic top stove , micro wave oven, galley extractor fan, large 130 liter fridge and a deep freezer are all standard

435 Commander
| Strikingly low sound levels at speed. Storebro´s well known beautifully finished mahogany interior in a tasteful combination with light colour
textiles, adds to an airy and spacious feeling throughout the boat.
Practical and functional solutions so typical for Storebro and
appreciated by yachtsmen who like to use their boats not only when the
sun is shining and the water is flat. A hull that offers both a safe
comfortable ride and good fuel economy. Shallow draft of under 1.0 meter
has been achieved by placing the propellers in recessed tunnels in the
hull. She has plenty in common with her other Commander sisters. Same
spacious layout. A very large afterdeck. The bathing platform provide a
wide area for sunbathing and swimming, while there is also plenty of
room for stowing a dinghy. The unique guest cabin makes excellent use of
the full width of the boat and offers three separate full-length berths.
Opening port lights to both starboard and to port, provides plenty of
light and ventilation, much appreciated especially hot summer days. A
back cushion acts as an infill cushion between two of the berths,
allowing conversion to a 1.75 m wide double bed and a single berth. If
there are only two guests on board, the cabin becomes a ‘mini suite’
with two berths, a comfortable sofa and direct access to an en-suite WC.
This boat has space for a visiting young family with children, or extra
berths in case the children or grandchildren want to bring their friends
along on a sailing holiday. Plenty of light is let into the cabins
thanks to a large number of opening hull portholes, which also ensure
effective ventilation. |

410 Commander
| The Storebro 410 Commander shares the characteristic lines of her elegant yet sturdy sister ships. Inside, the large chart table in the functional pilothouse with its forward-looking passenger sofa stand out. The comfortable, roomy saloon also holds a well-equipped galley and a tastefully rounded sofa at the widest point, as well as sliding glass doors aft. The flying bridge is easily reached both from the protected aft deck and from inside the saloon by cleverly designed stairs. Large sliding side doors give quick and easy access to the side deck and from there on to the fore deck: - Altogether, it gives you the same cosy feeling of a large boat as you get in the 475 Commander.
In the fore cabin, a gorgeous full-length double berth sits between spacious wardrobes in light mahogany with satin finish varnish. The master head with WC and shower is accessed directly from the stateroom. The two Volvo Penta diesels belonging to the new D6-generation are capable of moving the 12,5 metres long boat, weighing 9 tons, at speeds over 30 knots. Yet, the noise level under way is astoundingly low: - The propeller tunnels are similar to those on the Storebro 475 Commander. That gives her a draft of a little less than one metre, and also means she doesn't generate much wake wash.
The Storebro 410 Commander was developed at the Nimbus Group's development centre in Långedrag, and is built at Storebro. Production follows the ISO 9002 quality system regulations, and the construction is tested and approved by DNV (Det Norske Veritas).
