GÜDEL acquires manufacturer of washing, conveyance, storage and automation technology in the food processing industry

guedel-wvgWVG Kainz GmbH in Irschenberg, Germany, has been acquired by GÜDEL Group AG with effect from 01 October 2013. WVG Kainz will become a group company known as GÜDEL Intralogistics GmbH.

According to GÜDEL Group CEO Rudolf Güdel, WVG Kainz offers the perfect complement to the product and capability portfolios of the Group and therefore will continue its work from its base near Munich, Germany, in inclusion of all existing staff. The GÜDEL Group shares WVG Kainz’s values of responsibility, respect, transparency and quality, and will integrate and continue to operate WVG Kainz’s business in this spirit.

Over the years the GÜDEL Group has acquired deep know-how and experience in the development and delivery of large-scale projects in the food processing industry as well as other technologically demanding sectors. In the future the WVG Kainz team will complement the Group’s capabilities and capacity in the intralogistics sector in an ideal way.
