Ammeraal Beltech showcases its belting solutions at ITMA 2015

Global belting specialists Ammeraal Beltech are taking the opportunity to demonstrate their in-depth range of 21st century solutions in belting that address the unique needs of the yarn-spinning-finishing, weaving, textile printing and non-wovens sectors. On ITMA Stand B107, Hall 2, visitors can familiarise themselves with the latest innovations — RAPPLON® high-performance tangential belts and related products.

RAPPLON belting systems offer state-of-the-art performance with high dimensional stability, ease of installation, and low working tension, to eliminate elongation and reduce energy consumption. Made with polyester fabric, they feature Ammeraal Beltech’s QuickSplice joining system and – even with extra-long ring spinning units – never require re-tensioning.

New RAPPLON® spindle tapes

Partnering the RAPPLON tangential belts are engineered spindle tapes – including the 54970 RAPPLON UT E04.07 SQ, featured at ITMA, which combines a long service life with high, constant spindle speeds for uniform yarn quality. It is permanently antistatic and creates no edge-fraying or fluff or lint accumulation. Ammeraal Beltech have developed the system specially for textiles, delivering long service life, reduced downtime and energy consumption, and, of course, safe working for operatives.

E-RappCalc®

Newly added to the RAPPLON offering is the E-RappCalc online calculation programme. Users can conveniently input, store, and print out  production data -– power transmission, roller drive and tangential belt applications for perfect calculation and selection of RAPPLON High Performance Flat Belts.

More belting solutions

The demands of processes such as textile dyeing and printing, such as efficient flow of bales, fibres, bobbins, and packages, are also addressed in Ammeraal Beltech’s specialist textile industry solutions. The AmPrint range of long-life textile printing blankets for flat-bed and rotary screen, digital and table printing, add extra dedicated functionality. The lightweight high-speed cross-lapper belts range combines dimensional stability and perfect release of fibres, with a variety of construction/substrate choices, such as high conductivity, antistatic properties, and lateral flexibility.

Special requirements

Also featured in the product range are endless woven belts with a selection of natural and/or synthetic substrate yarns when extreme levels of temperature resistance, strength, or tension are needed.
