Baumüller’s new BPV series designed for high rotary speeds applications

With the new BPV series, Baumüller is expanding its range of planetary gearboxes to include helical gears for applications with high rotary speeds.

The new series offers a high torsional rigidity, and can handle high axial and radial forces. It is particularly quiet and precise, and impresses through its optimized synchronization and lifetime lubrication. The gear units are available in a standard version and as a variant with a flange fitting.

In particular, the BPV gear units reliably fulfill the requirements of the Baumüller motors of the DSP series, which can reach nominal speeds of up to 6,000 1/min, as well as those of the dynamic servomotors of the DSD2 series. Baumüller thereby makes a robust and reliable motor-gear unit combination available for all industries with high demands on speed.
