Calpeda’s MXV and MXV-B pumps receive WRAS Approval

After the MXH/MXHM 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 48 series, Calpeda’s MXV and MXV-B 25, 32 and 40 pumps have now obtained the WRAS Approval.

The WRAS Approval (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) guarantees that a product complies with the safety requirements in force in the United Kingdom for the drinking water sector.

The principles for obtaining this certification are based on the British BS6920 Standard, which defines the criteria and test methods for materials that come into contact with drinking water.

Very strict tests have to be passed in order to obtain the WRAS Approval, so it is not just an opportunity to better penetrate the British market, but also a prestigious recognition of the quality excellence Calpeda look for in its pump production process and a guarantee of safety for all its clients.

The official approval number for the MXV- MXV-B vertical multi-stage pumps is 1605304, and it remains valid until May 2021.
