With the new, six axis R-1000iA/130F, FANUC presents the youngest member of the world-wide successful robot series R-1000. Compact and lightweight, fast on its feet and considerably strong with an arm payload capacity of up to 130 kg, it is the new space-saving specialist for spot welding and all kinds of material handling applications in confined spaces.

“Up to now, the R-1000iA/100F has been the strongest model in the series. Despite the increased payload of 30 kg, the R-1000iA/130F is still able to reach the exact level of compactness that allows it to work in small work areas” says Thomas Schneider, Product Manager for Material Handling and Robot Vision at FANUC Europe. “And with its high stiffness, the new R-1000iA/130F offers the extra precision that our customers need for spot welding or any material handling applications.”

With a range of 2230 mm horizontal and 3738 mm vertical, the scope of application possibilities of the new robot are quite diverse. It is suitable for a multitude of applications including spot welding, palletising, load-/unloading and material handling – independent of the industry. Where space-optimized production systems, small cells and a smart ratio of payload capacity to compactness are required, the R-1000iA/130F provides the flexibility necessary to fulfil the task.
