Flowserve Corporation, a leading provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets, announced the introduction of the new NAF Setball SF high-performance ball sector valve.

Designed primarily as a compact rotary control valve, the V-port ball sector valve offers excellent equal percentage flow characteristics in combination with high-flow capacity. It can also be used as an effective shut-off valve, providing a highly versatile solution to a range of general services, including erosive applications such as fibers and slurries. The NAF Setball SF features:

  • One-piece, leak-proof, wafer-style body designed to minimize leakage paths
  • Compact face-to-face dimension considerably reduces material weight, offering a more price-competitive product
  • Low torque allows for the fitting of smaller, more cost-effective actuators (such as the NAF Turnex, which can be mounted directly to the valve)
  • Spring-loaded stem seal packing designed to enhance product integrity and provide safer, lower-maintenance operations for longer periods of time
  • Seat and seat seal which can be replaced without removing the segment, stem and actuator, reducing downtime and simplifying maintenance

Available in sizes from 1”-10” (DN25-250) and pressure ratings up to ANSI Class 300 / PN40, the Setball SF is fully compliant with PED and ANSI B16.34 standards.
