GIS celebrates 60-year anniversary with export partners

More than 40 partners from all over the world were warmly welcomed at the 60th anniversary of GIS AG. On the first day a review of the past decades, as well as an outlook on the new GP/LP electric chain hoist and trolley generation, was given. The original new company video animated our export partners to spontaneous applause. The second day all participants enjoyed a ride to Lucerne, followed by a boat trip to the foot of Mount Pilatus.

The world’s steepest cogwheel railway transported the participants from Alpnachstad directly to the top of the mountain. At 2132 m above sea level in 1890 built Hotel Pilatus-Kulm our guests were welcomed with a splendid lunch. For the return journey to Kriens, we used the new aerial cableway “Dragon Ride”. The final gala dinner took place in the stunning water castle at Wyher in Ettiswil. The Australian company Hasemer Materials Handling was particularly honored for 50 years of loyalty as GIS distribution partner. The British company Lift Turn Move was awarded for the most successful launch of the new electric chain hoist generation GP/LP.
