Mennekes and Hensel Polska collaborate to better serve Polish market

From January 2015, Hensel Polska Sp. z.o.o. in Poznan, the Polish subsidiary of Lennestadt-based Hensel International GmbH, strengthened its portfolio even further with the inclusion of yet another powerful premium brand, Mennekes Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG from Kirchhundem. The two medium-sized family-businesses aim to use synergy effects in order to serve customers on the growing Polish market as efficiently and successfully as possible.

Both companies are specialists in their field. Hensel has run successful operations in Poland since 1993, its products giving it a reputation as offering specialist solutions for particularly challenging electrical installation and distribution systems in the area of commercial, industrial, and transport-infrastructure-related applications. Mennekes has been active on the Polish market since as far back as 1990 and is a leading global provider of CEE plug-and-socket combinations for use in business and industry. The two companies exhibit significant overlap in terms of target groups: electrical wholesalers, electricians, and industry.

Both electrical engineering-focused family-businesses have their headquarters in Germany’s Sauerland and have already seen successful collaboration on other markets. By expanding sales of Hensel’s successful installation and distribution systems by global market leader Mennekes’ CEE industrial plugs, both companies expect further expansive development on the Polish market.
