LINAK launches the extra-large column DL12XL for display and monitor stands

1700 mm – that is the fully extracted length for the new inline column, DL12XL. Made primarily for large monitors and displays, the new column increases the use of screen movement in auditoriums and other large assembly facilities.

The widest product programme gets even wider

LINAK has vast experience in developing electric linear actuators such as lifting columns, and it has been the core competence for more than 30 years. Today, this results in the widest product programme on the market, which among other things consists of a whole series of XL columns.

The XL series now expands with the launch of the DL12XL. This particular column is an extension in this programme, but it differs from the rest in the XL series by being an inline column. The absence of the usual motor house allows designers more freedom than usual.

“As always, we strive to make our products elegant and discrete so that they will not compromise the manufacturer´s overall design,” says Product Manager, Birgitte Holm-Melin.

PIEZOTM technology as standard

The DL12XL comes with PIEZO technology as standard. This anti-collision feature ensures that any obstruction when raising or lowering the display or monitor, halts and reverses to avoid collision. The PIEZO sensor is completely integrated in the column with no visible changes and no extra mounting.

The specially developed LINAK technology is known from adjustable office desks around the world, where it prevents damage if obstacles are in the way of moving tabletops.

Features:

  • Low built-in dimensions and long stroke length
  • PIEZO as standard
  • Sleek and discrete inline design

Technical specifications:

  • Load: 600 N/leg
  • Stroke length: 999 mm
  • Built-in dim: 700 mm
