New frameless torque motors provides optimized machines reliability reduced costs

Especially designed to get rid of unreliable and wear prone transmission elements such as gearboxes, worm gears or belts and pulley, Parker TK series offers tremendous advantages over traditional solutions.

 Delivered as kits consisting of separate stator and rotor elements with large inner diameters, TK motors are intended to be directly integrated into the mechanical structure of the machine. The load is directly connected to the motor’s moving part, leading to simplified mechanical designs, reduced footprints and lighter weights.
As there are no more mechanical parts subject to wear, the lifetime of the whole system is increased, as well as maintenance costs are reduced. The absence of gears between the load and the motor also suppresses backlashes and looseness inherent in mechanical transmissions. This also results in higher stiffness and superior accuracy.

Performances, Robustness and Design Flexibility
Based on brushless technology, Parker TK motors are suitable for high performances applications requiring smooth rotation, high positional accuracy and / or high dynamic performances, such as machine-tool indexing and rotary tables. Other possible applications include mixers, crushers, winders… and any other processes where mechanical transmission elements represent high maintenance costs and important loss of space.

 Particularly suitable for use in harsh environments, Parker TK series offer high temperature resistance, up to 150°C, as well as perfect immunity to lubricants. Relying on a highly skilled support team, Parker TK motors benefit from a large set of customization possibilities, as well as advanced engineering services such as tailored mechanical design and sub-systems integration.

Either naturally ventilated or water cooled, Parker TK motors deliver continuous output torques ranging from 100 to 7000 Nm, with nominal speeds up to 1000 rpm. Parker TK motors deliver their full performances in association with AC890 Universal System Drives series, that run induction motors, torque motors and permanent magnet servo motors in control modes from simple Volts/Hz to precision closed-loop vector with positioning.
